The Peoples History

A Soviet View of the War

We are defeated. Stalin is dead, and The Motherland of Russia now sits in
subdued silence, stripped of its glory. General Romanov, current leader of the Russian
people, has been hand-piced by !merican intelligence operations as the perfect puppet
dictator, a mere pawn to ".S. interests.
#r so he appears to be.
$n the press, he%s portrayed as the consummate politician, earning the love of his
people and the respect of the West as a leader of the new World Socialist !lliance, an
innocuous organi&ation that gives financial aid to developing countries -- the ".S.-
friendly World Socialist !lliance family includes ey 'atin !merican countries, as well
as Me(ico.
)ut a fire burns within General Romanov* a thirst for vengeance, an outrage at
seeing his homeland crushed by the decadent empire of the West. +e can%t forget the war,
it%s branded on his childhood memories* the air stries, the infantry trotting through the
snowy streets, the factories e(ploding in orange blossoms of terrible flame. The
memories won%t die, and neither will the hatred. !s he grew up -- descendant of the old
c&arist aristocracy -- he has thought of little else but revenge. -or years, he%s nurtured
maniacal dreams of rebuilding the Soviet superpower. .art c&arist, part /ommunist, all
madman, Romanov plots in secret to strie bac at the "nited States, once and for all.
+e has allies* his World Socialist !lliance is, in fact, a puppet organi&ation that
cloas a more ominous agenda* the development of a global networ of communist allies
who are united in their cause of bringing !merica to its nees. $n addition to the networ,
he also has technology. Romanov has been secretly building an army trained in the art of
mind control. )uilding upon methods e(plored by the Stalin regime, Romanov has
perfected the art of psychically enhanced warfare. +is troops are a force in their own
right, but, powered by .sychic )eacons, their thoughts are their most formidable
weapons.
When civil war breas out in Me(ico, Romanov%s army moves in to protect WS!
interests, as e(pected. )ut it%s a ruse, a front behind which Romanov can set up his army
of psychically enhanced war machines. 0nocing out !merican early-warning defense
systems -- and the country%s nuclear arsenal -- by using mind control, Romanov
orchestrates a swift ".S. invasion. 0ey cities fall by the hour -- San -rancisco, 1ew 2or,
Washington 3./. -- as Romanov%s psychic strie force deploys its mind-control beacons
further and further into ".S. soil.
Romanov doesn%t want to destroy the ".S. -- no, his thirst for vengeance is
tempered by cunning* he wants nothing less than full control of the country%s
infrastructure, defense and resources. The ".S. will pay for its destruction of the ".S.S.R.
by becoming its first -- and largest -- colony. #nce the mighty ".S. has fallen there will
be nothing barring his way to total world domination.
