Make sure you take advantage of lecture time, oce hours, discussion section and your TAs oce hours, and your classmates, all of you which you will nd are valuable tools that successful students utilize. Exams are not cumulative. Dates of exams are following: Midterm 10 July 2014, Thursday Final 9 August 2014, Saturday at 8:00-10:00 If you cannot come to any of exams, you have to make arrangements within the rst two weeks of the course. We will only accept a very few reasons for not attending one of the exams. Those reasons are limited to: religious reasons, interviews for scholarships, and participation in intercollegiate sports. Students may not use a calculator on exams and quizzes. Class Conduct: Get to class on time. If you arrive late please take your seat as quietly as possible. Be respectful of your classmates and do not noisy when class is in session. This includes muting mp3 players, cell phones, and other electronic devices. If your cell phone goes o during class you will be asked to pass it to your neighbor who will be allowed to end the conversation in any way they see t. 2 Cheating will be taken very seriously. Every attempt to cheat will give you an automatic F for the course. You will not be allowed to drop the course, and your case will be forwarded to the student conduct committee. 3
