MAKING CONNECTIONS
SUMMER 2014
ACTIVITIES
In the midst of the summer heat
waves, on May 8, 2014, Psychology
students under the leadership of Dr. Eva
Castllo, Psychology department chair,
went block-by-block and house-to-house
in Buklod, Silang, Cavite. The program
dubbed as Making Connectons was
crafed for children with special needs in
the area with the purpose of organizing
them into an associaton. Getng these
children to the Buklod Bahayan Center
was a challenging task to the Psychology
group. Despite reasonable circumstances,
some children came accompanied by
their parents and guardians for a short
program. During the program AUP CES
director, Mrs. Eunice M. Carpizo, the or-
ganizer, welcomed the children and their
guardians and told them that the program
was only the beginning of a service that
will cater to their special needs.
AUP praises God for these students who
have chosen the University as their part-
ner in achieving success in life.
