CIT100-CALIBRATION OF PRESSURE

INDICATING INSTRUMENT
Objective
This short course is designed to provide participants good theoretical knowledge, understanding and
practical skill in the calibration of related pressure instrument and also to be competent in pressure
calibration activities.
Training Outline
DAY 1
Understanding of methodology of calibration.
Basic terminology, system of unit and measurement standards
DAY 2
Measurement uncertainty
Calibration equipment and techniques, relevant instrument i.e pressure gauge, pressure transmitter,
pressure switch, pressure transducer and pressure calibrator
DAY 3
Compliance requirements for measuring system
ISO 10012, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001:2005 and ISO/TS 16949
Practical Training
The practical training will concentrate on the principal understanding and practical equipment. The
participants will experience the proper method of calibration the equipment and how to calculate its
results and to present in the calibration certificate.
Who Should Attend
Measurement and calibration personal
Manager, Engineer, Executive Supervisors or Technician involved with calibration and testing
Individual involved with in-house calibration system or in the start-up of a calibration laboratory
Personal responsible for establishing calibration to meet the ISO 9001:2005, ISO/TS 16494
Duration : 3 days Time : 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
