Need to motivate all team members. Assess monthly and take necessary action.

Explain reasons for doing things / work on weaknesses as identified in feedback Take the time to explain the process or reasons why the action/decision is being taken Time to give to individuals, invest in them Work / task/ deadline pressures mean shortcuts are taken without full explanation Ask team members if that was clear, or if further explanation is required and respond accordingly
Communicate clearly and concisely, particularly when speaking Stop what Im doing. Think before speaking. Make eye contact; speak clearly and slower than normal to ensure the instruction / information is understood. Dont make assumptions! Patience! Need to change normal patterns of behaviour, be considerate of others needs Distractions in the office, other unplanned work pressures Ask colleagues for feedback after a set time period to see whether my verbal communication has improved and is meeting their needs.
