All-season synthetic blend
HY-TRAN ULTRA SSL uid is designed to work optimally all the
way down to -40F (-40C), yet it does not need to be drained
in the summer, because its a synthetic blend.
The difference is easy to see.

251H EP is an NLGI No. 2, lithium-soap, extreme-pressure grease

Superior Media
Our lters are designed to trap more of the small contaminants that are
most damaging to diesel engines. The media is uniformly resin-impregnated
and heat-cured to provide efcient ltration, while resisting the effects of
moisture. The media used in many of our newer lters combine microglass
and cellulose bers for doubled efciency over standard lters.

Stacked Disc
This custom-designed ltration media is 70% more efcient than cellulose
or paper media in ltering the 5- to 15-micron size contaminants.

Hot Melt
Our lters use hot melt a high-quality adhesive to uniformly bond the
lter element to the end caps. Plastisol adhesive keeps the lter media from
bunching and rupturing.

Rubber Seals
Many lter manufacturers use cardboard seals at the ends of the lters;
cardboard seals can deteriorate or leak. Our lters use a thin piece of rubber
that provides a tight, even seal at the base of the lter. It prevents unltered
oil from bypassing the lter media and re-entering your system.

AIR FILTRATION
Your engine is equipped with an air cleaner housing with lter
elements, integral precleaner and intake ducting. All perform
a certain function. For example, the intake ducts deliver air
to the precleaner, which takes out 75-94% of the heavy,
coarse dust before air reaches the primary element in the air
cleaner housing. Dust that reaches the primary element has a

As diesel engines operate, vibration of the cylinders creates microscopic bubbles in the
coolant that attach to the cylinder liners. These bubbles can implode with a force of
over 15,000 PSI. This collapse can blast small holes in the cylinder liner. Without the
protection of a heavy-duty coolant, the result is liner cavitation.
Over time, liner cavitation can allow coolant to enter the engine oil. This compromises
the lubrication of the engine oil and results in excess friction, which ultimately leads
to engine failure. Many competitive coolants dont provide adequate protection against
this. XHD offers superior liner cavitation protection by covering internal parts with an
oxide lm that takes the abuse of implosions to avoid premature engine failure.
