Saving files, where and how?

2 As a standard structure of saving files, a suggestion is to save the files in the following structure:
SubjectArea_TitleofWork_StudentName

Files should be saved in the appropriate places for the subject areas and must be in their e-portfolio folder.
Please convert all Microsoft office documents to PDF’s (e.g. Word/Excel/Publisher & PowerPoint files).
Saving as PDF’s in:
Word, Excel and PowerPoint: In Publisher, click on ‘Save As’ and change the ‘Type’.

Editing the E-portfolio with FrontPage

3 FrontPage can be found by clicking on
Start-> All Programs -> Microsoft Office -> Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003
Note that FrontPage is installed on all student laptops (Y5 & Y6) and all computers in the labs.

To edit the E-Portfolio files, in front page go to: File -> Open and select the applicable files from the e-portfolio folder.
