The competition of knowledge about

Poland


Aims of the competition:

1. Developing knowledge about Polish culture and traditions.
2. Giving students the opportunity to show their knowledge of facts about the art, sports, social
life and using this knowledge in practice.
3. Stimulate students to think creatively.
4. Creating ability of gaining and increasing knowledge independently.
5. Motivate participants to gather information and promote fair play.
6. Creating the ability of dealing with stress during public performances.

Forms of work:
1. I stage written work open exercises test.
2. II stage oral answers for drawn questions.

I stage
The first stage of the contest was to do the test. Three contestants who gained the most points were
able to enter the second stage of the test. The second stage consisted in answering the questions
orally.

Oral part final

Each of the contestants can make one mistake. In the beginning every of the participants answers
one question, then the first of the contestants, or the one who saved the most chances points out the
person who will answer the next question. The participant who answered the question correctly can
choose to answer another question. In this situation, when the answer is correct, he gains double
number of points. The questions are in random order.
