Objectives
This Work Instruction describes the removal and replacement of the Y-Linier Bearings.
Scope of Application
UV-Setter 57-Z
Descriptions
The Mechanical tolerance of the individual components must correct due to Mechanical
Length of Time.
Step 1
Perform work instruction AA-09-037 (Changing the Lamp) of Steps 1 to 6 and perform
work instruction HH-001 (Replacing the Y-Rail) of step 6 only.
Step 2
Unscrew 8x 4mm and remove Y-magnets “second and third” behind the Y-motor
from out to center for both exposure heads. (See Fig. 1)

Perform work instructions AA-09-063 (Replacing the Ball Screw) of the
Steps 1 to 12.
Note: Do this Work Instruction and Steps for Both Exposure Heads.

Step 4
Unscrew 2x 3mm bolts Y-measurement system (see fig. 2 & 3)

Step 5
Place the “Cardboard” under the Head PC Base Housing to secure Head PC Housing.
(See Fig. 4)

Step 6
Slowly pull the back Panel CNC Frame towards plate loader until freed from the Head
PC Base Housing Dull Pins.
6.1 From the bottom of the Back Panel CNC Frame “Tilt Up” towards plate loader in
approximately “45 degrees” then slide out the “Old linier Bearing” bottom and top
operator side. (See Fig. 5)

Step 7
7.1 Wipe off “old greased” from the Y-rails for both bottom and top rails.
