Objectives

This Work Instruction describes the removal and replacement of the Y-Linier Bearings.

Scope of Application

UV-Setter 57-Z

Descriptions

The Mechanical tolerance of the individual components must correct due to Mechanical
Length of Time.

Tools and work instructions:

 Allen key pack 1.5mm to 5mm


 T- handle Allen 2.5mm to 5mm
 Small screwdriver
 Ball driver Allen 3mm
 Cardboards

Step 1

Perform work instruction AA-09-037 (Changing the Lamp) of Steps 1 to 6 and perform
work instruction HH-001 (Replacing the Y-Rail) of step 6 only.

Step 2

Unscrew 8x 4mm and remove Y-magnets “second and third” behind the Y-motor
from out to center for both exposure heads. (See Fig. 1)

Caution: Do not stack up magnets together.

Step 3
Perform work instructions AA-09-063 (Replacing the Ball Screw) of the
Steps 1 to 12.
Note: Do this Work Instruction and Steps for Both Exposure Heads.

Step 4
Unscrew 2x 3mm bolts Y-measurement system (see fig. 2 & 3)

4.1 Unscrew 4x Linier Bearing 16x 3mm bolts. (See Fig. 3)

4.2 Unscrew Head PC Base housing 7x 3mm bolts. (See Fig. 3)

Step 5

Place the “Cardboard” under the Head PC Base Housing to secure Head PC Housing.
(See Fig. 4)

Step 6

Slowly pull the back Panel CNC Frame towards plate loader until freed from the Head
PC Base Housing Dull Pins.

6.1 From the bottom of the Back Panel CNC Frame “Tilt Up” towards plate loader in
approximately “45 degrees” then slide out the “Old linier Bearing” bottom and top
operator side. (See Fig. 5)

Step 7

Use this “Steps 4 to 6.1” on the other exposure head.

7.1 Wipe off “old greased” from the Y-rails for both bottom and top rails.

7.2 Install “new” Y-linier bearings in orderly. (See Fig. 6)

Step 8

Perform Steps 1 to 6.1 of the section “Replacing the Y-linier bearing” in the reverse
order.
