Just some instructions for those who are having issues:

1) Unzip rar to a folder
2) Run launch.exe in root folder
3) Click "Install Avid Editor Suite"
4) Avid should install automatically, you won't be asked any questions
5) At the end of install, say yes to reboot the computer automatically.
6) Run "Install_MC_Sonic.exe" and say OK to install the driver
7) Start Avid and in the registration dialog choose the last option: "I am upgrading
from a previous version and would like to continue using my dongle"

* Ignore the _crk.txt file
* Crack will not work on Vista 64-bit

ok I've found a guide online that I'm gonna post here
hope this helps anyone who had issues. It seems to work for me now.


1) Install Media Composer 4.0.2
(http://cdn.avid.com/MediaComposer/4.0.2/Mac/AvidMediaComposer_4.0.2.dmg)

2) This medicine contains two files, a)AvidMediaComposer & b)SuperPro32.

3) Copy the SuperPro32 file and Replase it with the file in: Macintosh
HD/Library/Frameworks/SuperPro32.framework/Versions/A (WAIT...NOT the
Library in your user folder...IMPORTANT!)

4) Go to your Applications folder and locate the AvidMediaComposer.app in your
Avid folder. Right click the AvidMediaComposer.app and choose "Show Package
Contents". A new window will open with the app contents and in
/Contents/MacOS folder you will see the AvidMediaComposer file. So Replace it
with the one from your medicine. DONT close the contents window yet.

5) Open your terminal and type: sudo chmod -R 755 (after the 755, don't forget
the space) and from the contents window Drag and Drop the
AvidMediaCopmposer file (the one you replace in the prev. step) in the terminal.
If you do it correctly your may read this: sudo chmod -R 755 /Applications/Avid
Media
Composer/AvidMediaComposer.app/Contents/MacOS/AvidMediaComposer.
After that press enter, give your password if you have one and again enter

Thats it...Finito!
