1) Comparable Corpora
This project is based on a comparable ENG-AR corpus that comprises a collection of
reports, articles and papers about the Greek debt crisis.
The combined word count of both corpora is over 23.000 words. As shown in the
table below, 30 English keywords and their Arabic equivalents were found.

Step #1: Looking up part of the expression using the Clusters tool.
The screenshots below show how Arabic equivalents of the key expressions "debt

Word Behavior
1- The word "borrowing" (n.) occurs with nouns such as "cap" [a cap on
borrowing], "cost(s)" and "level". It is also usually preceded by verbs like
"finance".



2- "Tax" modifies other nouns such as "evasion", "rise(s)", "revenues", "income",
"collection" and "code". Several adjectives co-occur with "tax evasion" such
