ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Anna University, Chennai was established on 4th
September 1978 as a unitary type of University. It
offers higher education in Engineering, Technology
and allied Sciences relevant to the current and
projected needs of the society. The Anna
University, which is of the affiliated type, is a
member of the Association of Indian Universities,
the Association of Commonwealth Universities and
Partner of UNESCO International Centre for
Engineering Education (UICEE). UGC have
accredited Anna University with Five Star Status in
2002 which is the highest rating.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Civil Engineering Department has been
started, with an objective to impart high quality
education in Civil Engineering. The Structural
Engineering Course was established in the year
2011.The department have good facilities and
qualified faculties with passion for both teaching
and research.
CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE
The objective of the conference is to drive into the
world of technological innovations in the field of
Structural Engineering and to provide a forum for
students, scientists, researchers, professionals to
present recent progress in research and
development and to report implementation of new
technology and tools in practical applications.
GUIDELINES FOR PAPER SUBMISSION
The abstract should contain a maximum of 150
words and a maximum of 5 keywords. The full
length paper should contain the following
headings; Introduction, Materials& Methods,
Results & Discussion, Conclusion, References,
Acknowledgement (if applicable). The paper
should be original one, not submitted/published
anywhere. The soft copy of the paper should be
submitted to the email id in MS Word file format
only. Registration is compulsory. A registered
delegate is permitted to present one paper only and
papers received without the registration fee will not
be included in the conference proceedings. The
delegates are requested to adhere to the guidelines.
Paper Structure Format:
The paper should be A4 size single column, 1
margin on all sides, font style Times New Roman,
font size- 12 at a spacing of 1.5
.Note: The full length paper should not exceed 10
pages.
