3 Important information
Important information
The following SAP Business One versions are no longer supported:
2007: The end of life of SAP Business One 2007 was on December 31, 2011. With the end
of life/end of support for SAP Business One 2007 (see SAP Note 528296), coresystems no
longer supports SAP Business One 2007 installations as of March 1, 2012. The latest
coresuite version that is working (not supported) on 2007 is version 3.50.
8.8: The end of life of SAP Business One 8.8 was on April 30, 2011 (see SAP Note
528296). With the end of life/end of support for SAP Business One 8.8, coresystems no
longer supports SAP Business One 8.8 installations as of May 1, 2012. The latest coresuite
version that is working (not supported) on 8.8 is version 3.50.
8.81: The end of life of SAP Business One 8.81 was on February 29, 2012 (see SAP Note
528296). With the end of life/end of support for SAP Business One 8.81, coresystems
stopped supporting SAP Business One 8.81 installations as of December 31, 2012. The
latest coresuite version that is working (not supported) on 8.81 is version 3.70.
8.82: The end of life of SAP Business One 8.82 will be on June 30, 2015. With the end of
life/end of support for SAP Business One 8.82, coresystems will stop supporting SAP
Business One 8.82 installations as of June 30, 2015.
coresuite widgets
As of SAP Business Client 9.0 PL05, the coresuite widgets will no longer be supported due to
SAP issues (SAP note: 1712816).
The following operating systems are no longer supported:
iOS4: iOS4 is no longer supported by Apple. With the end of life/end of support for iOS4 by
Apple, coresystems will stop supporting iPhones/iPads running on iOS4 by November 30th,
2012. iOS4 is only fully supported by coresuite.com mobile until version 2.3.6.
iOS5: With the upcoming 2.4 release of coresuite.com mobile for iOS (planned for end of
March/April), coresystems will stop supporting iPhones/iPads running on iOS5.
Android 4.0: With the upcoming 1.5 release of coresuite.com mobile for Android (planned
for end of March), coresystems will no longer support devices running on Android 4.0. You
will still be able to use the currently released version 1.4 of coresuite.com mobile for Android
on your mobile device running on Android 4.0. However, you can no longer update the app
and you will therefore not be able to benefit from improvements or new features.
The following iPhone version is no longer supported:
iPhone 3GS: Since April 30, 2013, the iPhone 3GS is no longer supported.
The following iPad version will no longer be supported:
iPad 1: With the upcoming 2.4 release of coresuite.com mobile for iOS (planned for end of
March/April), the iPad 1 will no longer be supported (because it doesn't support iOS6). You
will still be able to use the currently released version 2.3.15 of coresuite.com mobile for
iOS on your iPad 1 running on iOS5. However, you can no longer update the app and you
will therefore not be able to benefit from improvements or new features.
4 Important information
SAP SolutionPackager Add-On
If a database is created via SolutionPackager, objects (UDOs, tables, UDFs) created by
coresuite must not be
a. selected during the package creation
b. used as a reference in any files
Due to a bug in the SolutionPackager (SAP Note 1783572), coresystems does not
support the use of the SolutionPackager until SAP has resolved this issue.
SAP DTW (DataTransfer Workbench add-on)
If data is imported to SAP Business One via SAP DTW, tables created by coresuite must not be
a. updated via DTW.
b. used as a reference in the import files (e.g. when importing translations).
SAP CopyExpress
If objects/data are imported to SAP Business One via SAP CopyExpress, objects (UDOs, tables,
UDFs) created by coresuite must not be
a. imported via SAP CopyExpress.
b. used as a reference in the import files (e.g. when importing translations).

System requirements for coresuite
framework and country package
Before you install coresuite, make sure that your system meets the software and
hardware requirements for SAP Business One. For more information, please visit www.
sap.com (http://sappartneredge.com/B1/platforms).
Some modules might have different requirements than the ones listed below. Please
check the relevant manual.
When installing coresuite country package for the first time in your environment,
ensure that you use the latest available installer from http://coresystems.ch/en/
support/download/coresuite-products/. Ensure that you always run the most current
version of each module. To to do so, go to http://coresystems.ch/en/support/
download/coresuite-modules/ and select the relevant SAP Business One patch level.
Before you install coresuite on Citrix environments, make sure that your system meets
the requirements specified under https://helpdesk.coresystems.ch/entries/22419836.
Reported support issues caused by not following these guidelines will be charged.
Windows users need full permissions for the SAP Business One add-on directory on the
relevant PC/system, and read/write permissions on the SBO_SHR directory on the
server.
Vista and later Windows versions use UAC (User Account Control). Adding the
permissions above described to each Windows user account is not enough for those
permissions to be actually available. Especially for module updates, SAP Business One
needs to be run explicitly as Administrator (via right-click on the SAP Business One
icon) to take effect. For additional information, please refer to http://windows.
microsoft.com/en-ie/windows7/what-is-user-account-control.
The database authentication account for Microsoft SQL must have full permissions to
create/update databases.

i. Procedure for SAP Business One updates
Make sure that you have installed the latest coresuite modules before you install any SAP
Business One update.
Also make sure that you download and install the relevant SAP Dlls, because they are
required for the add-on to communicate correctly with the coresuite modules.
ii. Procedure for coresuite module updates
Make sure each SAP Business One client application is at least started once explicitly as
Administrator (via right-click on the SAP Business One icon) for the module update(s) to be
completed successfully (as described above).

iii. Supported/Faulty SBO patch levels
Please check the following list before you set up or upgrade any customer system. SAP
Business One patch levels need to be tested before they can be released for coresuite
products. Therefore, they might be released with a delay.

SBO 9.0 PL09 (SAP Note 1968216 - UI API DataBind.Alias and DataBind.TableName do not
work when adding and binding an EditText to a UDO form. This issue corrupts add-ons.)

9 System requirements for coresuite framework and country package
coresuite eCommerce
Minimum hardware requirements
The minimum hardware requirements are prescribed by ePages and SAP Business One. They
must be fulfilled in order to use eCommerce. For further information please see www.epages.de
and www.sap.com (http://sappartneredge.com/B1/platforms).
Please also refer to the system requirements for coresuite products.
Make sure that enough memory (RAM) is available on the server on which the eCommerce
interface is running. The required memory for the interface is about 100-150MB. However, this
depends on the number of processes.

system is replicated on mobile devices and web applications. These devices and
applications might not have the same performance as normal computers and servers. If

Validations or changes to the Stored Procedures SBO_SP_TransactionNotification and
SBO_SP_PostTransactionNotice can block the SAP Business One DI API and cause
synchronization problems. If changes have been made, you must check them with
coresystems before using the connector (subject to charge).
SAP allows own code to be added to the SBO_SP_TransactionNotification and
SBO_SP_PostTransactionNotice Stored Procedures.
Please note that adding and/or modifying own code in either Stored Procedure can
have a negative impact on the coresuite.com cloud connector (synchronization issues
or blocking of the SAP Business One DI API). We therefore suggest that you verify any
changes with coresystems in advance (chargeable service).

HDD The program itself requires minimal disk space. However, the log files
can grow big quickly and take several gigabytes. This is why we
recommend you have 50GB above the official SAP ECC system
requirements. Log files retention policy should be considered and
implemented to keep the HDD requirements lower.
Remote access Installation and administration of the Message Broker requires a
(remote or physical) access to the machine, with administrative rights
(necessary to install/update program binaries and start/stop windows
service).

The following firewall ports have to be opened in order to make E4C work:

Note that, although E4C handles bidirectional communication, from the point of view of
the network connectivity, all connections between E4C and coresuite cloud are

intranet) on the firewall need to be opened to enable receiving inbound messages.
