PHILOSOPHY
As an educator, I will strive to open doors for children to explore and to ignite a passion for knowledge.
I will always seek to make content relevant, purposeful, engaging and meaningful. Inquiry will be an
essential part of my instruction, so students can construct their own lasting knowledge. I will have high
expectations and will scaffold instruction to ensure success. My classroom will be governed by mutual
respect, where all students feel safe, valued, and free to take risks. Every child deserves the opportunity
to be part of a caring, positive community and it is my goal to create that in my classroom.
