Faculty View About JEE (Main) 2014 Paper

Chandra Shekhar Sharma (CSS) Sir (HOD, Physics): Paper was easy to
moderate. Cut Off will remain same as compared to last year. Overall, the
paper was scoring.
Shiv Pratap Raghuvanshi (SPR) Sir (Faculty, Physics): Physics paper
was moderate. There were tough calculations in some questions. It was
easier as compared to last years paper. There were no different concepts;
it was same as we taught in the class. There were many similar questions
which we have discussed in the class. Paper was good. Class XI portion was
a bit tough, Class XII portion was easy
Praveen Gupta (PG )Sir (Faculty, Physics): Physics paper was easy to
moderate. Easy questions came from theory notes. All the concepts were
easy. Focus on practicing easy questions and attempt them with accuracy.
Bal Kishan (BKS) Sir (Faculty, Chemistry): Paper was good as expected.
There were so many similar questions which we have taught in the class.
Paper was easy to moderate. If I compare it to last years paper there was
similar toughness.
Siddharth Shukla (SID) Sir(Faculty, Chemistry): Paper was easy, 80%
questions were from Osmotic presume, BCC pacing, Compressibility, factor,
relation between IC & S/C etc.
Ashwini Sharma (AIS) Sir (Faculty, Chemistry): Paper was 90% easy and
10% moderate. JEE (Main) 2013 was little tough as compared to this years
paper. Almost questions came resembling our study material. Students
must have solved easily. Few questions based on concepts were good. In
some questions, students cannot judge their knowledge. Overall paper was
good.
Shailendra Jain (SJ) Sir (Faculty, Chemistry): Paper was moderate. It
was a simple paper but 2-3 questions were based on deep concepts. There
were so many seen questions which we have discussed in the class during
lectures.
Pankaj Kumar Jain (PKJ) Sir (Faculty, Maths): Paper was quite good.
This years Mathematics paper was average, not very difficult. It was
slightly lengthy as compare to last year.
Preadeep Ajmera (PAJ)Sir (Faculty, Maths): Mathematics paper was
lengthy as compared to last year. As far as question difficulty level is
concerned, it was a very easy paper.
Satpal Singh (SAT) Sir (Faculty, Maths): Paper was lengthy and it needed
more than one hr but questions were easy, students must have the read the
same concepts during their studies. Hope they must have attempted the
paper with confidence.
