Kinder Promotion
Our very own Hardy Brown was
honored on Saturday, May 31
st

with an Honorary Doctorate of
Humane Letters award from Cal
State San Bernardino. This was an
amazing event that honored an
individual who has made a huge
impact in education and in the
city of San Bernardino over the
course of years. Especially paving
a way for African Americans.
There were many prestigious and
renowned individuals at the event,
including the former Mayor Pat
Morris and current Mayor Carey
Davis of San Bernardino, as well as
the current San Bernardino City
Unified Superintendent Dale
Marsden. There were many family
members of Hardy Brown, as well
as his close friends, all in presence
to honor such an extraordinary
individual. It was an honor to host
this event at Hardy Brown College
Prep, where we are working every
day to make a difference in our
young scholars lives.

Our 4
th
grade scholars went to Sacramento!!
On Saturday, May 31
st
, Ms. Balcazar (our 4
th
grade teacher) took
her scholars on an amazing and insightful field lesson to
Sacramento. They went on an adventure to the state capitol and
other historical sites in Sacramento.

Kudos to Ms. Balcazar and her 4
th
grade scholars for their hard
work and dedication in raising money for the field lesson. This
was an enriching experience that our scholars will never forget.
