The circuit of a 1M&' C 2 3 A M 4+P transmitter descri.ed here can .e used to transmit either C2 or audio fre*uenc!
modulated signal over a 1M&' carrier5
The carrier fre*uenc! oscillator is cr!stal controlled using 1M&' cr!stal in its fundamental mode5 The tan6 circuit
comprises a shortwave oscillator coil which can .e tuned to 1M&' fre*uenc! with the help of 7- gang capacitor VC85
Transistor T9 :with identical tan6 circuit connected at its collector as in case of transistor T8; serves as a power
amplifier5 The +F output from oscillator stage is inductivel! coupled to the power amplifier stage5 The output from power
amplifier is routed via capacitor C< and inductor L< to a half"wave dipole using a 1$"ohm co"a=ial ca.le5 7- gang
capacitor VC< along with inductor L< forms an antenna tuning and matching networ6 .etween the output of power
amplifier stage and coa=ial transmission line for ma=imum power transfer5 Suita.le heatsin6 should .e used for
transistor T95
Tuning ad>ustments ma! .e accomplished using a ?"volt torch .ul.5 Connect the .ul. to the collector of transistor T8
first through a coupling capacitor and tune 7- gang VC8 for ma=imum .rilliance5 :,ote@ the .ul. would light according
to intensit! of +F energ!5; Same procedure ma! .e repeated for power amplifier stage and antenna tuning networ6 for
ensuring ma=imum power transfer5
For C2 operationA switch S8 is to .e 6ept on for .!passing the audio driver transformer and Morse 6e! is used for
