UN information
After world war II the Un formed.
League of Nations was the failing organization
that the UN replace.
The UN was formed because to allow the
countries of the world to communicate with
each other, and work together to prevent
future wars or conflicts.


Purpose/mission of Un
The mission of Un is to supports The United
Nations Volunteers (UNV) programs is the UN
organization that supports sustainable human
development globally through the promotion
of volunteerism, including the mobilization of
volunteers. It serves the causes of peace and
development by enhancing opportunities for
participation by all peoples.
Leadership and membership
The current Secretary-General of the UN is
Ban Ki-Moon
There are 193 countries are members of the
UN
The UN headquarters is located in New York
City.
General Assembly
The general assembly is the main deliberative,
policymaking and representative organ of the UN
(they make decisions on important topics such as;
peace, security, admission of new members ect)
policymaking and representative organ of the
United Nations are in the general assembly.
The general assembly make decisions by listening
to each members and they come to a conclusion
based on which one make more sense




Security council
The security council has primary responsibility
for the maintenance of international peace
and security.
15 countries sit on the security council.
Theres 15 members, each represent a
country.
The five permanent members of the security
council are China, France, Russian federation,
the United Kingdom and the United States.


International court of justice
The international court of justice is in New
York.
The international court of justice hear are
contentious cases (legal disputes submitted by
the states) and advisory proceedings (legal
questions referred by duly authority).
World health organization
The World Health Organization is located at
the headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland
The World Health Origination is responsible
for providing leadership technical supports to
countries and assessing health treed
UNICEF
The UNICEF stand for United Nations
Childrens Fund
UNICEF was created because to help European
Children who face famine and diseases
UNICEF providing food, clothes, and health
care for children.
