Students will be able to express feelings and describe persons with basic characteristics

Ask and give basic personal information on their home, possessions and people they know.

SEQUENCING

By the end of this lesson, the learners are able to use shapes, colors and personal characteristics.
In the previous lesson the students worked with personal pronouns and personal information.

ANTICIPATED SOLUTIONS
1. We can catch their attention using each name and a word like Julian stop
when he does not attending and he receives a penance like spell a word. In the
same way with the others. At the end of the session, the students who pay
attention receive a sticker. We can ask the student to finish first an additional
task like helping other partners.
2. We can evaluate the students with co-evaluation while we explain the topic.

PROCEDURE
1. Warm Activity
We have some paper on the board, each one of these
papers have the name of a color written with a marker of
a opposite or different color (for example we write white
with a black marker) and the students should speak

2. Activity: We cut 6 different easily recognizable
paper shapes: Orange stars, yellow circles, red
squares, green ovals, purple squares, and blue
triangles. We tape paper shapes to the floor. We
divided the class in two groups the red one and the
blue one, they are identify with a red circle and a
blue square in their t-shirts.
After that and we say simple commands like: Reds:
Jump from one side to the other only touching one
color/shape. And Blues: jump 2 shapes to the right

3. Activity: We divide the course into two groups, all


members go to the board and try to write as fast as
possible the sentence that the teacher says. If the
student who finish first write correctly his sentence,
gives his/her group a point. The group with more
points than the other is the winner.

4. Activity: Students are provided with some


newspapers and magazines. With them, they try to look
for different kind of people (talking about appearance).
With the pictures they should make a photographical
parallel in order to compare people and adjectives.
Example: Cut out two men, paste in the notebook a tall
man picture and in front of this, paste a short one. Under
each picture, write the adjective.

class you have to bring a description of them.
