Details: We are seeking a PR and Comms Intern to work in our St Kilda based office 3 days a week or the equivalent of 18-24
hours a week. We offer a flexible schedule to accommodate Uni hours/study.

Bourse Communications is one of Australias most progressive and innovative Investor Relations and Business Communications
firms. We specialise in managing the relationships of both unlisted and listed companies within the investment community.

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated and must have excellent written and communication skills. As a PR
Intern you will provide direct support and work closely with the Communications team. We are a small business. This role will
ideally suit a candidate who is looking to take the first step into a communications based career, either in the final year of their
degree or undertaking postgraduate study. This role will provide an opportunity to learn a vast range of skills related to
communications and public relations.

This position will suit you if you are an organised, outgoing, eager person in the early stages of your career. You must be a self-
motivated individual who is dedicated and adaptive. You will be an excellent communicator and someone who doesnt mind
helping out in any area of the business where help is required.

Within the role you will be responsible for:
Assisting the Communications team with the preparation/development of newsletters, company updates, corporate
brochures, presentation materials, media releases and website content
A wide range of communications/public relations activities; including media monitoring, updating databases and social
media.
General/broad range of administrative support, including; organising meetings, developing agendas, managing telephones,
mail, couriers, monitoring media and compiling reports.

In addition to the above, the successful applicant will have:
Proof of Australian Citizenship/Permanent Residency/ Eligibility to work in Australia (Work Visa)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills - this is an essential part to the role and applicants are asked to submit
examples of their written work.
A fastidious attention to detail
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Tertiary qualifications - final year or undertaking postgraduate study in Communications/Journalism/PR/Media/Writing (or
similar)
Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team
A creative and innovative approach, demonstrating initiative.
