1. What is the procedure for obtaining the Prospectus/syllabus/Application
form of the program?

Student is required to submit an application on plain paper to the Executive Director,
along with a demand draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of Indian Institution of Industrial
Engineering, payable at Mumbai. Mention your postal address where the prospectus
is to be sent. The postal address for sending the application form is as given below:

2. When are the Admissions?
In a normal course admissions are given round the year. However to appear for
February exam admission should be over by 15th October of previous year and for
August exam by 15th March of that year.
3. Who can join the course (Eligibility) ?
Diploma in Engg. / Technology (AICTE approved or equivalent 3 years course) with one
year working experience.
Graduate in Science with one year working experience.
H.S.C (Std. XII with Science) with two years working experience.
Has completed and passed first two years of a regular degree course in Engineering /
Technology.
Degree in Engineering / Technology of a University of India or equivalent qualification
recognized by All India Council for
Technology Education (AICTE) as equivalent.


4. What is the procedure for admission of students who have not received the
result of eligibility qualification?

Provisional admission will automatically stand cancelled and the student will cease to
be on rolls as student member in case these documents are not submitted by due
date. Such students will not be permitted to appear for the IIIE Graduateship
examinations. No communication will be provided in this regard. Fee once paid is not
refundable.
5. What are the documents to be enclosed as eligibility proof along with
admission application form?
Filled in application form has to be complete. Applicant is advised to read the instructions
carefully before filling up the application form. All the supporting documents (as specified in
the Prospectus/ application form) should be enclosed along with the application form and
should be attested by a Gazetted Officer or Notary Public or by the Head of the Institution
last attended.
Documents to be enclosed:
Course Fee Demand Draft is to be drawn in favour of "Indian Institution of Industrial
Engineering" payable at Mumbai, only will be considered.
Note: for course fee, examination fee details are provided in the Prospectus.
Exemption form
Attested copy of school leaving/HSC/Final Diploma Certificate & Marksheets.
Service Certificate
Two attested photographs (4.5 x 4 cms)

6. What are some of the reasons that may lead to rejection of an application?
Applications shall be rejected without assigning any reasons for the following
reasons.
Incomplete application form
Non-enclosure of proof of eligibility qualifications
Non-enclosure of Demand Draft or in case it is an outstation Demand Draft. No Cheque/
Cash accepted
Documents enclosed are not attested by Gazetted Officer or Notary Public or Head of
Institution last attended

7. Can there be a refund of fees after admission or if a student withdraws from
the course?

Fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances.
8. What is the fee structure?

9. EXEMPTIONS:
Student who hold eligibility qualification approved by AICTE can apply for grant of
exemptions which they are entitled to. Exemptions will be granted only on application
by the student and upon scrutiny of the students qualifications.
Application for grant of exemptions must be accompanied by the prescribed fee for
each part and all the necessary documentary evidence of qualifications etc in the
same manner as required for application of student membership of the Institution.
Wherever considered necessary, BOE may ask the student to furnish further details
like syllabus, scheme of examinations, question papers etc regarding the
qualifications on which the student is seeking his/her claims. (refer the prospectus)
