APSRTC offers many types of bus passes for the people of the twin cities. The most common types of bus passes are:
GBT Monthly:

Please note that an amount of Rs.25/- will be charged extra to obtain an ID card for all the above passes. This card will be valid for 1 year. Since the bus passes are not transferable, the ID cards are to ensure
this policy. The ID card will have the details of the holder including photo, name, sex, age, address, phone number, etc., and a unique ID number which has to match with the ID number in the pass. It is very
important to carry this card along with the pass, or else the pass can be dismissed as invalid by the APSRTC staff. This card is also required to be shown every month, while renewing the bus pass

for a combination ticket.
Combination tickets can be availed from the conductor of the respective bus. Recently, APSRTC is also allowing student bus pass holders for purchasing combination tickets. The ticket is
valid for only that particular trip of the bus.
Passengers can travel in Metro Express buses as well as in ordinary buses by taking Metro Express monthly pass. This pass costs Rs.650 and passengers can travel in city and sub-urban
regions for one month. Metro Express buses generally are in blue color. They have wider middle entrance for easy entry and exit of the passengers. With this pass, you can also travel in
any of the buses below by paying some extra amount for a combination ticket.
If you are having a GBT pass and want to travel in Metro Express buses, the price of combination ticket will be Rs.7/-
Veera bus pass costs Rs.750 and valid for one month. Passengers can travel in city and sub-urban regions in APSRTCs ordinary, metro express and Veera or metro deluxe buses. Veera
buses are replaced with metro deluxe buses for the long distance commuters within the city. They have attractive colors, comfortable seats and wider windows.

Sheetal Hamsa buses are premium air-conditioned buses to travel within the city. Apart from air conditioning it also has other facilities like 45 seater capacity,
push-back seats, spacious leg room with enough space for passengers to board and disembark. Since charges are bit higher than regular services, the rush in
these buses is comparatively lesser. The monthly bus pass costs Rs.1600.
If you are having a GBT, Metro Express or Metro Deluxe pass and want to travel in these buses, the price of combination ticket will be Rs.20.
