Touchscreen
Touchscreen - or screens sensitive to touch , are as their names implies , devices
that respond to touch. with these screans , you can control various other devices , most
comonnly computers. The displey shows the function menu screen that can "run" on your
computer. It is self-evident that these devices have great applicability, that is applicable
in various fields of human activity.Screens that respond to touch eliminated the need to
use a special device to enter data in the systems in which they are used. They combine
the functionality of input to output devices, used to display the output data, ie. results,
and at the same time allow entry of data and manipulation.
Today there are different technological implementation screens that respond to
touch, the basic and most commonly used are: resistive touch screen, capacitive touch
screen, screens using surface acoustic waves. Because they are easy to use, user
interfaces and screens that respond to touch, have a wide range of applications in many
areas, they are the technology that is chosen today.I will cite a few eamples of human
activity in which the screens that respond to touch are suitable for use : public
signboards, sales and !estaurant Systems, customer self-service. "ntil today, the
following tehnologies have been used : !esistive #-wire technology - Both sets of
electrodes are connected to the same layer, and the resist layer panels $outer layer%,
while the internal resistance layer has only a single electrode.&ield gradient is
established in the outer layer in both directions $ and y%, and the contact between the
layers in the layer 'ust read voltages. The functionality is no different, ecept that the
technology is a #-wire is a bit durable and reliable, and more epensive. (ost recently
emerged a technology with ) wires which is supposed to solve a lot of problems and
that is durable than the technology with # wires.Tehnologi'a Infrared- Infrared technology
is based on a "grid" of infrared, invisible, rays emitted from a range of photodiode on one
side of the screen and the number of received photosensiti*er on the other side of the
screen.. Two pairs of series photodiode-photosensor, for hori*ontal or coordinate and
the vertical or y coordinate. +hen an ob'ect touches the screen,it interrupts some
"connection" between the photodiode and the photosensiti*er, and these interuptions
inicade the location where the screen has been touched.,otodiodes do not emit infrared
rays continuously, but fre-uently "scanned" , y ais.. +hen you scan more obvious
"bro.en" air on and y aes, the result coordinates arithmetic of the respective values of
Bro.en strings. /dvantages of this technology are the visibility, which is 0112, you can
touch the touch screen with any material , protected from eternal conditions $dust,
water, ...%, and their only wea.ness is its inability to achieve high resolution.
/s it is evident from the tet, screens that respond to touch, touchscreen since
its discovery until today have eperienced significant progress and have lived through
many changes, and entered into almost all areas of human activity. 3redit for that goes
to their many advantages over insensitive to touch screens - pooling the input and
output units, ease of use, intuitiveness, and recently the increasing availability, the ability
to function in a variety of "unfavorable" conditions $humidity, water, dust, .. .%, and many
other benefits. 4f course, screens that respond to the touch $still% are not perfect, they
have flaws, but these flaws can still be somehow overcome such as the use of other
technology screens that respond to touch.&rom the very beginning, since the first
resistant technology, up to today, and today5s technology, the screens that respond to
touch have always been an area of rapid development, prosperous area, and as it
seems, will remain some time li.e that .
