Ms. Andrea J. Garner,
Emerson Motor Co.
8050 West Florissant Avenue
St. Louis, MO 63136
Dear Ms. Garner,
I am writing in response to the Product Support Engineering Co-op Flyer that
I received from Cindy Korte. I would like to know more about position and have
opportunity to interview at Emerson Motors.
As my resume explains, I have good technical experience and a strong
academic background that will allow me to quickly become familiar with the
products and practices at Emerson. In my coursework, I have obtained a sound
overall knowledge of the principles that I believe would be important to this
position. I am currently designing a hydrostatic bicycle for my Capstone Senior
Design Project. In this project I am the team member responsible for the analysis
that determines the pump and motor requirements. I also have much experience
with technical software packages such as: Matlab, Python, AutoCAD, Excel, and
Labview.
My analytical and trouble-shooting skills would be useful at Emerson. I am
motivated, resourceful, and disciplined and I believe that I could make a
significant and valuable contribution in my time spent as a Co-op as Emerson
Motors. I would appreciate the opportunity to interview for this position. Thank
you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Zachary W. Herren,
Mech. Eng. Student
SIU Edwardsville.

Please review my resume, which follows.
