- Window Lighting - We have included a window to link with our theme agoraphobia
- Equipment needed: two poly boards / defusing paper / light head (defusing paper over the light
head)
- Overall Lighting - We needed to include an overall lighting to our set to lighten the shady areas.
- This also helped to notice the textures of the wall paper
- Equipment: poly board / defusing paper / light head with a large soft box
- Equipment: boom arm / light head (defusing paper over the top)
- Ceiling Lighting - We added another light head to the set for one main photograph otherwise the
subject would have been in the shadows.
- Equipment: boom arm / light head (honey cone and defusing paper)
- Hallway Ceiling Lighting - For the hallway we added a ceiling focus the light in a certain position
were the subject will stand for one certain photograph.
- Equipment: boom arm / light head (honey cone and defusing paper)
- Hallway Main Lighting - We added another light to lighten the shaded areas in the hallway.
- Equipment: light head with a large soft box (defusing paper over the top of the soft box)
- Focus Light - During the photo shoot we found it difficult to focus on the subjects eyes, we used this
focusing lighting to focus before truing the light of and taking the photograph.

Foi oui gioup fashion shoot we useu the issue of agoiaphobia as the concept foi oui builu. At the beginning of the pioject
we came to an agieement that we wanteu to cieate a set of images, which iesembleu a uocumentaiy seiies iathei than a
glamouifashion seiies. We felt that agoiaphobia woulu be a goou issue to focus on as the fashion woulu not necessaiily
be the most impoitant aspect of the shoot. We hau stuuieu an Alec Soth image fiom the seiies PaiisNinnesota anu felt
that we coulu cieate a similai type of lighting anu atmospheie in oui own fashion seiies.
Bue to focusing on the genie of uocumentaiy, we wanteu to cieate a scene of iealism iathei than something mythical anu
uniealistic. 0veiall we feel that we weie successful in cieating a iealistic beuioom scene thiough the use of piops,
mateiials anu lighting. To enhance the look of the beuioom we auueu a hallway that gave uepth to the set anu moie
options wheie to photogiaph.
Befoie oui photo shoot we expeiimenteu with oui main focus lighting. We hau ueciueu we woulu use a focus spotlight
with a slat gobo to iesemble the winuow lighting, but when the shoot week came we ueciueu this technique uiun't match
oui concept thiough the lighting being too uiamatic anu uefineu. This meant the technique uiun't ielate to oui iuea anu
methous of cieating a soft anu subtle atmospheie. We then changeu the winuow lighting to a heau light with uefusing
papei to make the light seem natuial to iesemble sun light.
Buiing oui photo shoot the lighting thioughout was consistent. Piioi to the shoot we maue suie that the lighting was
coiiect foi the uiffeient types of shot that we hau planneu to captuie; by uoing this we uiu not have to move oi aujust the
lights that we hau set up. This was helpful as it alloweu us to focus on the taking of the images iathei than the powei of
the lights.
Thioughout the photo shoot week we all paiticipateu anu focuseu on oui inuiviuual ioles. We all founu the week to be
beneficial in uiffeient ways. It was a leaining expeiience foi us all anu we have gaineu new skills, specifically in methous
of lighting.
