Assault and Repair

Scenario:
After suffering a terrible defeat and the destruction of the bridge, the Allies pulled back into the
hedgerows of Lorraine. Command however has not given up on this bridge and the strategic position it
has for their supply chain and advance. Reinforced with a Rifle Squad, with Engineers shortly to arrive,
the allies setup a Field HQ and assault the German lines again trying to secure the bridge and carry out
repairs. German command impressed with the victory gained in this sector has granted a small
reinforcement of units to delay the Allies further in hopes of gaining time to regroup their nearby
Panzer division. The remaining forces from the previous battle have dug in. Intel has it German
command is sending a Luchs light tank and hardened infantry to add some firepower to the German
defence, so expect fierce resistance!
Tips: The US have the numbers but dont underestimate the crack troop reinforcements the Germans have on the way.
Utilise the Jeep Mortar, Flamethrowers, The Rock hero and MG suppressive fire to subdue the Germans.
The German mortar could be devastating against closely grouped engineers.
Whilst the Bridge is the Main Objective, dont forget to protect your flanks!
Reinforcements
US gain Engineers Reinforcements at the end of supply turn 1
Germans gain Festungskompagnie Reinforcements at the end of supply turn 3
Main Objective
Allies must repair the bridge with the Engineer units to enable allied tanks passage
over the river. You must place an engineers unit on the 4 bridge objective markers
in order to repair the bridge. For 1 turn whilst occupying the bridge objective
marker they cannot be given an command order, but they can be moved in the
supply phase. At the start of the supply phase the Bridge section is considered
repaired. Gain as many yellow objective markers from the board at the start of the
supply phase that have been repaired. When you have gained 4 yellow objective
markers the bridge is repaired. Remove the destroyed bridge tile.
The Germans must prevent the bridge from being repaired.
> On Completion gain a Willys Jeep MG
Allied Secondary Objectives
Clear the tank traps so that the tanks can progress through the town at full
speed. Use the explosives to clear the tank traps.
> On Completion gain a Greyhound reinforcement unit
Secure the town. Eliminate the Germans from the houses and bunkers.

German Secondary Objectives
Attack and secure the US Field HQ in the Forest across the river. This will deny
the US any reinforcements should the US repair the bridge and/or clear the tank
traps .
The game ends at the end of Turn 7 or if all main US objectives and US secondary
objectives have been fulfilled by the US or if all engineers are killed before the
bridge is fully repaired.
The US win the game if the bridge is repaired by the end of Turn 7.
The Germans win if before the end of Turn 7 they kill all the engineers or if the US
fail to repair the bridge.
The completion of secondary objectives will affect the outcome of the follow up
scenario for the US and German forces should the US win.
If the US fail there is no follow on scenario.
