Semi-structured interviews will be conducted and then coded to identify themes using Grounded Theory.

Additionally, the study hopes to assess whether there is a dose relationship with citaloprams effect on the QT and/or QTc intervals. The study is a retrospective chart review from August 2010 August 2013 conducted at the Battle Creek Veterans Affairs Medical Center. July 2012 June 2013 Comparison of Mometasone and Formoterol Versus Budesonide/Formoterol in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Battle Creek Veterans Affairs Medical Center Battle Creek, MI Mentors: Terrence Baugh PharmD, BCPS and Jeanne Anderson, PharmD, BCPS The purpose of this study was to compare the rates of worsening of symptoms during the six months before and after formulary conversion from mometasone and formoterol to combined budesonide/formoterol. Electronic medical records were reviewed and the rate of occurrence of an episode characteristic of a worsening of symptoms was calculated. No significant differences were found in the primary outcome, but significant improvements in compliance, measured by a medication possession ratio, were seen with budesonide/formoterol.
