Field Experience- Target Range Elementary. Missoula, MT. Fall
2013 (4
th
grade).
Five weeks prior to student teaching I spent my time team teaching
with three cooperating teachers as well as three other student
teachers, making a grand total of 7 teachers for a rotating class of
sixty 4
th
graders. Collaboration and communication were essential
during this time of teaching. Also being consistent as a teacher(s), yet
flexible as a team was a challenge, but achieved quickly as we
worked together.

Student Teacher- Newhalen School Newhalen, AK. Jan-April
2014 (In progress).
Currently I am student teaching in a remote village, in a combined
classroom of 3
rd
, 4
th
, and 5
th
grade, as well as teaching part time in the
Kindergarten class. Ive learned to be extremely flexible with the
diverse learning abilities and cultural setting. In addition, Ive
volunteered to help with teaching some poetry and art in the high
school. My willingness to jump in and help where I can has provided
me with a wide range of teaching experience and opportunity.

Special Skills &
Interests
Art & photography are two of my life passions, I would love to share these
skills and integrate them into my future curriculums. Fitness & sports also
have been a major part of my life, and Im very interested in coaching as
well. Finally, I am technology savvy and skilled in trouble-shooting
technology issues. I have gathered a surplus of knowledge using tools in
the classroom such as; Smartboards, digital projectors, and Mac &
Windows programs.
