TILES: AMAZINGLY SIMPLE TO INSTALL
WITH THE SIPLEX SYSTEM.
INTERSOL frame components can be installed in
just a few simple steps, especially on tiled roofs.
Bolted roof hooks are delivered with pre-
assembled Siplex Prole clips or Siplex TopFix.
This makes it easier to install the transverse
rail. Suitable roof hooks in various strengths are
available to meet diferent static requirements.
Just some of the features that combine sophisti-
cated quality with ease of installation.
ROOF FASTENING
To create the supporting structure, attach roof
hooks, which are available in two diferent
strengths, directly to the roof rafters. Two simple
methods of adjusting the height are available
depending on the roof construction: for adjust-
ments between 3-10 mm on the roof rafters, steel
packing plates can be used. For old and particularly
uneven roofs it is easier to make the adjustment
on the roof hook. Adjustable bolted roof hooks
for greater height clearance are available for this
purpose. Donauers Siplex Prole clips or Siplex
TopFix are pre-assembled for use with all bolted
roof hooks for INTERSOL mounting systems on
tiled roofs. Fix the roof hook in the usual way and
then simply press the Siplex transverse rail into the
pre-assembled prole clip. The prole clip holds the
transverse rail securely and the ready-made parts
save you valuable work time.
TRANSVERSE RAILS
Statically optimized INTERSOL proles allow you
to select just the right model for the requirements
of your roof. Simply use the Siplex connecter plug
to join two transverse rails. The plug connector
ensures that the transverse rails are securely joined.
Small teeth on the connector stop the proles from
disconnecting. The connector allows continuous
rows of up to 15 m to be installed. Because the plug
connectors are on the inside, the transverse rails
have a uniform appearance. INTERSOL transverse
rails Standard Type 2, Light Type 2 and all further
transverse rails in the INTERSOL series are suitable
for all common applications.
PITCHED ROOF
MODULE FASTENING
Once the substructure is in place, the individual
modules are then joined using middle clamps and
secured with end clamps onto the proles at the
respective ends. All clamps are included as pre-
assembled sets comprising clamp, Allen screw with
square nut and prole clip for easy installation.
The ready-made Siplex clamp latches into the
transverse rail and you only need to tighten the
screws. Thanks to the innovative clip, the clamp
can no longer pop out of the guide. Cross rail
systems are available for modules that are to be
mounted horizontally. The cross connectors are
provided as pre-assembled sets and require just
one simple click.
All our roof hooks are pre-assembled
Siplex Prole clips or TopFix and
designed for easy connection to Siplex

TRAPEZ FLEX: FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION
DUE TO TRAPEZOIDAL SHOE.
Donauer Solartechnik provides three diferent
supporting systems for installations on trapezoidal
roofs: Trapez Flex, Trapez Light and Trapez Combi.
The star, owing to its ease of use, is the Trapez
Flex system.
ROOF FASTENING
The Trapez Flex substructure allows solar modules
to be mounted crosswise, diagonally or vertically,
as well as in an elevated position. It is based on an
individually adjustable trapezoidal sheet holder that
is screwed onto the raised beading. This trap-
ezoidal shoe features a exible sidepiece, which
allows it to be pre-set to the width of the raised
beading while still on the ground. Once on the roof,
self-tapping screws are then used to attach the
pre-adjusted shoe with its ready-drilled holes in just
seconds. The screw holes are sealed with the aid of
an EPDM gasket.
TRANSVERSE RAILS
A prole can be mounted on the Trapez Flex in
next to no time. Irrespective of roof alignment,
transverse rails such as the Siplex Prole are
simply screwed onto the trapezoidal shoe. By xing
separate trapezoidal shoes to the entire roof, solar
modules can be mounted crosswise, diagonally or
vertically or in an elevated position. The Siplex
prole, with pre-assembled module attachment
sets, and the Standard Type 2 transverse rail are
suitable for all common elds of application. If the
loads and distances between the fastening points
are smaller, the Light Type 2 transverse rail is the
perfect solution its reduced height and lack of a
cable channel makes the prole incredibly light.
Exactly right for use on trapezoidal roofs.
MODULE FASTENING
The individual modules are joined using middle
clamps; the respective ends are attached to the
prole with end clamps. An M8 anti-theft device
that prevents the insertion of an Allen key can
be installed as an optional extra.
Trapez Flex can be screwed onto the raised beading
of the trapezoidal roof in a matter of seconds.

TRAPEZ LIGHT / COMBI:
OUR MOUNTING SYSTEMS ENSURE STABILITY.
For mounting on trapezoidal roofs, Donauer
Solartechnik ofers the INTERSOL Trapez Flex,
the practical Trapez Light system and the tried
and tested Trapez Combi system. These solutions
too have what it takes to form the perfect basis
for your solar installation. The Trapez Light and
Trapez Combi systems can be attached to almost
all trapezoidal and sandwich roofs in just a few
simple steps.
ROOF FASTENING
The Trapez Light mounting rail is only 39.5 cm
long, and therefore easy to attach to the roof. It is
screwed in parallel to the roof plate and used when
the plate is at least 0.63 mm thick. The Trapez Light
can be mounted exibly on the raised beading with
a minimum width of at least 20 mm thanks to its
twelve screw holes. The screw is sealed tight against
the roof using an EPDM sealing sheet. We supply
self-tapping screws in the package. So you have all
the components you need.
The alternative installation system for solar plants
on trapezoidal roofs is the Trapez Combi system.
This prole can be used on trapezoidal roofs with
thin roof plates or sandwich panels. It is securely
glued and screwed to the roof in two stages and
provides excellent static load capacity. Firstly, the
Trapez Combi is attached to the trapezoidal roof
with double-sided industrial tape. This is a key step
required for sealing the screw holes and efectively
preventing moisture from entering, even over the
long-term. The prole is then secured using screws.
They provide a secure fastening and increase the
surface pressure on the adhesive tape. The sheer
strength of the Trapez Combi mounting system is
compounded by its dual fastening.
TRANSVERSE RAILS
The Trapez Light and Trapez Combi proles both
have one striking feature. Since the usual roof
hooks are missing here, the mounting rails act as
both roof mounts and transverse rails. If you are
planning on installing the modules vertically, you
can construct an optional cross rail system from our
transverse rails. Please dont hesitate to contact us
for more detailed information about this option.
The handy Prol Trapez Light is bolted parallel
to the roof. It is structurally secure with high material
thickness.
MODULE FASTENING
The individual modules are connected together using
middle clamps and fastened at each end with end
clamps on the prole. With Trapez Light, it is possible
to install eight solar modules in each row. Thermal
separation is achieved through parallel-connected
rails, each with an end clip. An M8 anti-theft device
that prevents the insertion of an Allen key can be
installed as an optional extra. The short Trapez Light
mounting rail is screwed on parallel to the roof. If the
roof plate is thicker, then there are no static restric-
tions to be observed.

CORRUGATED ROOF:
FLEXIBILITY WITH A FIRM BASE.
Donauers cleverly designed modular concept
also provides a custom installation solution
for corrugated roofs. Special hanger bolts and
nuts are used to mount the system to the roof
construction. The option of choosing between
all transverse models provides great exibility.
Connector plates make mounting the system
as easy as it gets. Each transverse rail prole is
optimized by using cavities and has enormous
stability despite its low weight, thus providing
innovative qualities that ensure long-term
satisfaction.
ROOF FASTENING
Firstly, for the substructure, hanger bolts are
screwed into the purlins of the roofs substructure.
A sealing ring and a nut are rmly pressed onto the
corrugated sheet, thus ensuring ideal waterproof-
ing. The adjustability of a second nut ensures that
the overall construction height can be conveniently
adjusted to the same level. A connector plate,
to which the transverse rail is connected, is then
mounted to the hanger bolt using a third nut.
TRANSVERSE RAILS
Thanks to Donauers modular principle for its
assembly solutions, you can also benet from
diferent transverse rails on corrugated roofs,
depending on the specic characteristics of the
roof, and the associated advantages. The Siplex
prole is suitable for all common areas of use.
It is very lightweight, but has excellent stability.
Depending on your requirements, you can also use
our Standard Type 2, Light Type 2 or the INTERSOL
55x40, 80x50 or 120x70 transverse rails. They
are incredibly stable due to their improved static
properties. Another advantage: Both M10 T-head
bolts and M8 threaded nuts t in every slot,
allowing much greater exibility during assembly.
All proles are available in various lengths or can
be can be cut to size. The connecting brackets
allow continuous rows of up to 15.0 meters to be
installed. In addition, matching end caps can also
be fastened to the ends to provide a harmonious
overall appearance.
MODULE FASTENING
Once the substructure is in place, the individual
modules are connected together with middle clamps
and the respective ends are fastened to the proles
with end clamps. To attach the modules, simply
click in the Siplex middle clamps or end clamps to
the Siplex prole. If the modules are to be mounted
horizontally, they must be screwed on or clicked in
directly to the transverse rails using module clamps.
If, however, you intend to mount them vertically,
a suitable cross-rail system is available for all
our proles. An anti-theft device that prevents
the insertion of an Allen key can be installed as
an optional extra. For the substructure, hanger bolts are screwed securely
into the purlins of the roofs substructure. Adjusting the
height to a uniform level is very simple.

SPANISH TILES:
BRACING WITH AN INTELLIGENT SYSTEM.
Donauer also ofers an elegant mounting solu-
tion for historic roofs with Spanish tiles (monk
and nun tiles). The use of suitable hanger bolts
and nuts ensures the necessary bracing. Since
all types of transverse rails may be used here,
this attachment variant provides a high degree
of individuality. The appropriate connector plates
make mounting the system astoundingly easy.
Despite their low weight, the cavity-reinforced
transverse rail proles are incredibly stable.
Innovative qualities that ensure long-term
satisfaction.
ROOF FASTENING
In the rst stage, special hanger bolts are screwed
into the roof substructure. To prevent moisture
penetrating into the screwholes, a sealing ring is
pressed onto the corrugation (monk) of the tiles
with the nut. With the help of an adjustable second
nut, the structure can be adjusted to a uniform
level. A connector plate, to which the transverse
rail will be connected, is then mounted on the same
hanger bolt with a third nut. Important: In the case
of concrete roof structures with Spanish tiles,
dowels must be used to anchor the system in the
concrete.
TRANSVERSE RAILS
The statically optimized proles from Donauer
allow you to select the right model for the
characteristics of your roof. The rst choice for
Spanish tiling is the Siplex transverse rail. It is
very lightweight, but has excellent stability. The
Standard Type 2 transverse rail is suitable for all
common applications the prole is noted for its
high stability and the integrated cable channel
allows quick and orderly cable installation. If the
loads and distances between the fastening points
are smaller, the Light Type 2 transverse rail is the
perfect solution its reduced height and lack of a
cable channel makes the prole incredibly light.
Alternatively you could use the 55x40, 80x50 or
120x70 INTERSOL transverse rails.
The INTERSOL mounting system is an elegant
solution for historical monk/nun tiling.
MODULE FASTENING
The individual modules are connected together
using middle clamps and fastened at each end
with end clamps on the prole. The modules are
connected directly to the module clamps on the
Siplex transverse rail. Thanks to the innovative clip,
the clamp can no longer pop out of the guide. You
just have to tighten the screws. When using other
transverse rails, the module clamps are screwed
in. No matter which prole you use, we have the
necessary cross-rail system to t. An anti-theft
device that prevents the insertion of an Allen key
can be installed as an optional extra.

FOLDED SEAMS: SAFE INSTALLATION
WITH STAINLESS STEEL CLAMPS.
This system makes mounting tasks on a folded
seam roof particularly easy. The individual
modular concept enables fast and easy mount-
ing for all static loads. Thanks to integrated
hollow chambers, the suitable prole product
line ensures maximum stability with minimum
weight. Take advantage of the innovative
properties and the excellent quality.
ROOF FASTENING
With folded seam roofs, the folded seam clamps
with self-locking nuts are simply attached to
the standing seams. With barrel roofs, they are
attached to the standing seams with Kalzip
clamps. The point-to-point load capacity of the roof
structure determines the number of suitable clamps
required for secure installation. The stainless steel
folded seam or Kalzip clamps ofer a secure fasten-
ing, without damaging the roof sheet. The variety
of system combinations allows it to be connected
quickly to all transverse rail components.
TRANSVERSE RAILS
Select the prole you want for the characteristics
of your roof, regardless of whether it is a conven-
tional folded seam or barrel roof. The rst choice is
the Siplex transverse rail because it is lightweight
but has excellent stability. Depending on your
requirements, you might also choose our Standard
Type 2 transverse rails or another INTERSOL prole.
If the loads and distances between the fastening
points are smaller, the Light Type 2 transverse rail is
the perfect solution its reduced height and lack of
a cable channel makes the prole incredibly light.
All proles are available in various lengths or
can be cut to measure. The connecting brackets
allow continuous rows of up to 15.0 meters to be
installed. In addition, matching end caps can also
be fastened to the ends to provide a harmonious
overall appearance.
The stainless steel clamps allow solar installations
to be rmly secured to folded seam and barrel roofs,
without damaging the roof membrane.
MODULE FASTENING
Once the substructure is in place, the individual
modules are connected together with middle
clamps and the respective ends are fastened to the
proles with end clamps. If the modules are to be
mounted vertically, they must be screwed directly
onto the crossbeams using module clamps. If the
modules are to be mounted horizontally, a suitable
cross rail system is available. An anti-theft device
that prevents the insertion of an Allen key can be

GROUND-MOUNTED
GROUND-MOUNTED INSTALLATION WITH CONCRETE
FOUNDATION: TABLE CONSTRUCTION FOR EASY ASSEMBLY.
Donauer ofers an equally durable and conve-
nient overall solution especially designed for
ground-mounted installations. The frame
of this practical folding system is delivered
pre-assembled and can be completely installed
at the place of destination by two installers
in only few minutes. The modular system is
supported on a ground-mounted table whose
static properties can also withstand major
snow loads and strong winds. If extreme loads
are anticipated, we can also ofer optional
site-specic static designs.
ELEVATED MOUNTING
The Donauer ground-mounted frame with concrete
foundation is a simple folding table construction.
Since the screws of the L and U sections are
only hand-tight on delivery, the individual frame
rods can be easily moved. In the rst step, the
pre-xed screws on the top rail are loosened to
fold the supports and diagonals open and fasten
them to the U-rail. Then all that needs to be done
is to tighten the remaining screws. The frame is
reinforced with steel L-sections. To ensure that
the frame is securely anchored depending on the
combined wind and snow load it is fastened to a
reinforced concrete strip foundation in the ground.
The dimensions of the foundation will depend on
local soil characteristics.
TRANSVERSE RAILS
The module support section of the ground-
mounted frame consists of 80x50 or 120x70
INTERSOL transverse rail proles. Their enormous
stability makes them suitable for use with high
static demands.
MODULE FASTENING
The modules are positioned vertically in two rows
one above the other. Once the substructure is in
place, the individual modules are connected in a
row with middle clamps and the respective ends are
fastened to the proles with end clamps. An anti-
theft device that prevents the insertion of an Allen
key can be installed as an optional extra.
The substructure is pre-assembled
and supplied in a folded position.
The system can be unfolded and
erected in minutes.
Please contact us directly for larger-scale
projects as we can also supply non-standard
designs if required. We can also install the
frame with the aid of pile-driven foundations,
on request.

FLAT ROOF
FLAT ROOF ELEVATED MOUNTING: ADJUSTABLE TO
NEARLY ANY ANGLE WITH TRIANGULAR SUPPORTS.
Donauers stable mounting systems from the
INTERSOL product line are also the optimal
choice for at roofs. Our statically certied
solutions have proven their durability for
many years when exposed to wind and snow.
The frames are rmly secured to prevent lifting,
without damaging the roof membrane. Each
version can be used for roofs both with and
without gravel surfaces.
FLAT ROOF ELEVATED MOUNTING
Aluminum triangular supports are used as standard
for the substructure and can be adjusted to various
tilt angles. The local wind and snow loads determine
the prole thicknesses to be selected as well as the
ideal distances between the supports. Flat roofs
with a gravel surface allow the structure to be easily
weighted down against wind suction loads using the
existing gravel. In this case, the supports are riveted
on to plastic base panels in advance. If you prefer
to mount the modules vertically then each support
is attached to two plastic base panels. If you intend
mounting the modules horizontally, two supports
are mounted on a plastic base plate for each module.
Concrete blocks are suitable for stabilizing triangular
supports that are fastened directly to at roofs
without gravel. The distances between the supports
is determined according to the wind and snow loads.
This version, for example, is weighted down against
wind suction using pavement slabs.
TRANSVERSE RAILS
The easy-to-install Siplex transverse rail is suitable
for all standard applications. It is very lightweight,
but has excellent stability. Depending on your
requirements, you can also use the Standard Type
2 transverse rail or our 55x40, 80x50 or 120x70
INTERSOL proles. If the loads and distances
between the fastening points are smaller, the Light
Type 2 transverse rail is the perfect solution its
reduced height and lack of a cable channel makes
the prole incredibly light. All proles are available
in various lengths or can be made to measure.
The connecting brackets allow continuous rows
of up to 15.0 meters to be installed. In addition,
matching end caps can also be fastened to the
ends to provide a harmonious overall appearance.
The stable triangular supports are supplied folded.
To mount the supports, simply unfold them and adjust
them to the optimum angle.
MODULE FASTENING
Two additional transverse rails are fastened to the
supports for normal vertical installation. Once the
substructure is in place, the individual modules
are connected in a row with middle clamps and the
respective ends are fastened to the proles with
end clamps. If alternatively the modules are mounted
horizontally, they must be directly attached to the
triangular supports and only tted with end clamps.
An anti-theft device that prevents the insertion of an
Allen key can be installed as an optional extra.

FLAT ROOF
FLAT ROOF: FAST INSTALLATION TIMES
WITH SIMPLE MODULAR SYSTEM.
The INTERSOL Flat Roof allows you to quickly
and easily install solar panels on at roofs.
The system is delivered in compact form
to save on transport costs. You save valuable
time because the system components are
prefabricated, allowing you to install 1 kWp
in no more than 1 hour. INTERSOL Flat Roof
can be built with only two tools.
ROOF FASTENING
The system can be installed at an angle of 5 on
flat roofs. There is no need to penetrate the roof
membrane when assembling the substructure
because the system takes advantage of
aerodynamics: the greater the wind flow, the
more firmly it sits on the roof. Pre-assembled
protective mats made of polyurethane (PU) on
all profiles in contact with the roof allow you to
assemble the substructure on any roof covering,
whether its foil, gravel or asphalt. Any uneven-
ness in the roof is no problem when assembling
and mounting the system.
ELEVATED MOUNTING
As the system components are all pre-assembled,
no drilling, cutting or sawing is required on the
roof. The triangular support foot can be assembled
in seconds: just bend and click, done. It is possible
to install the modules at an angle of 12 or 20
as required. An angle of 12 is optimal in order to
install as many modules on the available surface
as possible. An angle of 20 ensures high energy
efciency since the solar panels are aligned opti-
mally towards the sun. Other angles of inclination
or distances are available on request.
MODULE FASTENING
The mounting system is suitable for all framed
solar panels due to the variability of its construc-
tion. All you need is approval from the manufacturer
to place clamps on the short side of the module.
The modules are attached with the module stop bar
on the prole rail and by screwing it directly to the
screw channel. The modules are securely clamped
to points dened by the module manufacturer.
The back panel is easy to attach: it is hooked
on to the tip of the triangular foot and screwed
directly on to the support foot. You dont need any
nuts. The base prole rails act as cable lines for
integrated cable routing. The end caps and cable
covers give it a high-quality look.

FLAT ROOF
FLAT ROOF DUPLEX: THE INTELLIGENT SYSTEM
FOR INSTALLING THIN-FILM MODULES.
The INTERSOL Flat Roof Duplex system allows
you to easily and quickly install frameless
thin film modules from east to west on flat
roofs. Modules can be mounted on each roof
individually. Installation times are quick due
to the innovative and prefabricated substruc-
ture. The average weight of the substructure
and solar modules is 20 kg/sqm, if the system
groups are lined up next to each other. The
area load is low because of the module spac-
ing: this will be determined by your maximum
roof load.
ROOF FASTENING
INTERSOL Flat Roof Duplex is suitable for all flat
roofs with a roof pitch of up to 5. Pre-assembled
protective mats made of polyurethane (PU) on
all profiles in contact with the roof ensure the
roof membrane is not damaged. Construction of
the substructure is possible for any roof cover-
ing, whether its foil, gravel or asphalt.
Any unevenness in the roof surface is not
a problem when mounting the system and
obstacles can be circumvented with the modular
system. There is no need to penetrate the roof
membrane when assembling the substructure
because the system takes advantage of aero-
dynamics: the greater the wind flow, the more
firmly it sits on the roof.
ELEVATED MOUNTING
Since there is no cutting required for installation,
you dont need to do any time-consuming work
such as drilling, cutting or sawing. The proles
can be screwed quickly to the substructure for the
solar modules as we supply pre-fabricated screw
channels and hammer head grooves. The modules
are installed automatically on both sides at the
optimum angle of 10. Another benet of elevated
mounting: there is little or no ballast needed to
secure the construction.
MODULE FASTENING
The mounting system INTERSOL Flat Roof Duplex
is suitable for nearly all frameless thin-lm modules
and framed solar panels due to the variability of its
construction. The modules are attached with the
module stop bar on the prole rail and by screwing
it directly to the cable channel. The modules are
securely clamped to points dened by the module
manufacturer.
Pre-assembled protective mats made of polyurethane
protect the roof membrane from damage. The use

INROOF
INROOF: THE ROOF-INTEGRATED SOLUTION
WITH CNPV TECHNOLOGY.
The new InRoof system for solar installations
combines the aesthetics of a frameless module
with the functionality of an impermeable
in-roof module like no other system. Thanks
to the ingenious slide-principle, mounting
a roof-integrated photovoltaic system has
never been easier. All the roof connections are
matched to the mounting and framing system.
As a result, no additional metal or welding work
is necessary.
ROOF FASTENING
The modular connector system consists of left,
central and right mounting rails. Once the roof
covering has been removed, the mounting rails
are bolted to the purlins. Ventilation panels are
mounted on the roof ridge for optimum rear
ventilation and protection against small animals.
The construction is rounded off with aluminum
ridge sheets and eaves plates. EPDM C-, F- and
T-seals protect against water seeping through
the roof.
TRANSVERSE RAILS
The mounting rails attached to the purlins also
form the module frame. The individual modules are
then attached to the mounting rails transversely
from the ridge to the eaves. Attachment is made
particularly easy thanks to the grooves integrated
into the frame section. There are also no protruding
assembly parts. In addition, a sealing groove is
integrated into the frame which seals the modules
against each other. All modules are attached on
the same level so there are no gaps between the
modules in diferent rows. The closed module area
creates an all-glass look.
MODULE TECHNOLOGY
CNPV Solar Power SA is a leading integrated manu-
facturer of photovoltaic products from ingots to solar
modules. The hallmarks of crystalline CNPV solar
modules are reliability and durability; stringent in-
house tests and external certication (EN IEC 31245,
EN IEC 61730, UL and CE) ensure peak output and
safety. The premium solar modules from CNPV have
a product warranty of 10 years and an anti-reection
coating with more than 95% light transmission. They
are available in performance classes of 240, 245 and
