The Lord has shown us His Beauty, showered us with His Mercies and stirred our love for Him from a freed
heart. He is so very worthy of our unending worship and our joyful affirmation of His desires. This alone is the
reason for Night and Day orship!"rayer in the region# He ought to $e. He is worthy.
However, there is an additional reason. %t is &od's idea and an e(pression of His mercy. The Lord has set a
grace)filled dynamic into the fa$ric of His creation. By His design, the *ingdom of &od is e(pressed $y means
of agreement forged in the conte(t of worship filled prayer+ manifesting in mercy !justice. They are intentional,
interdependent aspects of our relationship with &od that operate in unity and form the testimony of our Lord
,esus, the -hrist. %t is within this dynamic that we discover unending treasures of joy and &od's love proves to
$e $oth enormously generous and highly interactive .see Lu/e 01 and %saiah 23)214.
-enturies ago, the Ta$ernacle of David was formed with this dynamic in mind and although we are not see/ing
to recreate the Ta$ernacle, we desire to operate in the same spirit $y forming an altar of fiery hearts given to
night and day worship filled prayer $efore the Lord.
e gather individually and corporately to minister to the Lord, agree with Him in concerted intercession and
prepare the way for the -hurch to have a strategic impact of Love and "ower in the region. 5s we pray in
agreement with His heart, &od is loved, enjoyed and honored .serendipitously, so are we4, His *ingdom
manifests in power and true, $i$lical justice is released on earth as it is in Heaven. The result is a transformation
of hearts and lives $y His &reat Love.
IHOP-LI: The Ark House o Prayer is a growing regional, mission)$ase+ e(pressing our love for The Lord $y
serving Long %sland and New 6or/ -ity7s metrople( through worship filled prayer.
8ur prevailing desire is to see Long %sland!N6- fully e9uipped and engaged in orship filled "rayer :;)<)=32+
carrying a mantle of love, power and the good news that ,esus is The *ing and the *ingdom of Heaven is at
hand.

IHOP-LI is part of a glo$al worship)prayer)missions movement that draws its inspiration from David7s
Ta$ernacle and later, the Moravians who demonstrated the powerful impact of the marriage $etween worship,

IHOP-LI is sustained $y those who willingly pour out their lives as a responsive offering to ,esus and
humanity through worship, prayer .intercession4 and deeds of mercy!justice in the power of His Love. e are
intercessory missionaries to the region+ paving the way for the -hurch in worship)filled prayer. e are
committed to simple lifestyles in order to 9uic/ly respond to opportunities for love, evangelism and $i$lical
justice.

corporate -hurch and our respective communities so they are saturated in love and empowered to wal/ in
the &race of His "urposes. 5dditionally, we partner with the -hurch .locally, regionally and nationally4 to
worship together and wal/ out our prayers in practical e(pressions of love.
The result we see/ is $oth a regional and glo$al awa/ening to the Beauty and orth of the Lord ,esus, the
-hrist, the release of true, $i$lical justice on the earth and a fresh empowerment for the -hurches of Long
