This is a lesson after run-on sentences is taught. Teacher Directions: 1. Cut each Fable picture strip and paste them on the wall. 2. Give each group of students (4s) a copy of the Fable paper to read and discuss. 3. Have the students do a picture walk and write down the title of each fable, basing on the pictures on the wall. 4. Show the Fables Video to check their answers.(Video listening guide on separate worksheet) 5. Review run-on sentences. 6. Have each group work together (each one has one paper to work on) or have one group work on 1 fable and the other groups do the others (lower level class) and break the run-on sentence apart to 3 shorter sentences. 7. Paste the finished paper on the wall beside the picture and the students can do a picture walk with post sticks to write their suggestions and comments, ad paste them beside the paper on the wall.
