Then, on September 16, the team nished up the season with a rigorous battle against the Board of Regents Regulators, and though the match didnt end with a victory for the Zeppelins, Coach Linda Regira said she was proud of the way her team played this year. LED really stepped up to the plate in 2013, Regira said. The Zeppelins met their preseason goal of winning a playoff game, and the goal next season is to make it into the quarter nals.

Cool Planet Energy Systems (Natchitoches and Rapides Parishes) Three bio-reneries will be built in Louisiana through a $168 million investment by Cool Planet Energy Systems, creating 72 new jobs.
EuroChem (Iberville or St. John the Baptist Parish) Through a $1.5 billion investment EuroChem will build an ammonia and urea production plant in Louisiana, creating 200 new jobs.
AAR Corp. (Calcasieu Parish) AAR Corp. will establish an aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul operation at Chennault International Airport in Lake Charles, creating 500 new jobs and retaining 250. BASF (East Baton Rouge Parish) BASF announced plans to invest $42.6 million in a new polyurethanes blending facility in Geismar the companys fourth major expansion in the state that will create 22 new jobs. American Tank Company (Iberia Parish) American Tank Company will invest $2 million to build a new manufacturing facility in New Iberia, expanding their manufacturing and ofce space from 5,000 square feet to 20,000 square feet and adding 20 new jobs. ChenMed (Orleans Parish) ChenMed will expand the companys ChenTech subsidiary and establish a new software development center in New Orleans, creating 50 new jobs.
Teleperformance (Caddo and Bossier Parishes) Through the expansion of its Shreveport customer contact center workforce, Teleperformance will create 740 new jobs and retain 1,260 existing jobs.
Wingspan Portfolio Advisors (Ouachita Parish) With the acquisition of customer service operations at the JPMorgan Chase Home mortgage nance center in Monroe, Wingspan Portfolio Advisors will create 532 new jobs, retain 400 existing jobs and make a $2 million investment in the renovation of the center. Shell (Ascension Parish) In September, Shell selected a Ascension Parish as the location for a potential $12.5 billion natural gas-to-liquid facility that would create 740 new direct jobs and an estimated 3,900 new indirect jobs.
Southern Business & Development In July, Southern Business & Development recognized Louisiana as Co-State of the Year for 2013. This is the fourth time in ve years that Louisiana has been designated State or Co- State of the Year in the South.
