Built in a small housing, the SceneGate Micro II is an ideal STB to deliver classic on-demand, linear TV and Over-the-Top (OTT) services. With an external IR extender the STB can also be used for concealed environment solutions. An SD Card slot and the option for an external local PVR bring additional enhancements to service scenarios. The flexible SceneGate SDK provides open APIs for integration with native or browser based middleware clients and applications. For integration with todays internet media offerings, the software framework can be extended with a flexible media engine allowing OTT Streaming as well as demultiplexing and decoding of the most popular container and codec formats. In addition DLNA based media sharing is available for applications to enable in-home streaming or multi-room concepts. Sound Matters - For enhanced video and media sharing services sound matters and is equally important as picture quality. Therefore Albis Technologies provides a wide range of audio codecs including Dolby, DTS and lossless audio codec support for in-home media. With its contemporary design the SceneGate Micro II is a cost-attractive device for todays living room services. High engineering quality and optimized software guarantee excellent user experience and customer satisfaction for operator services.

The SceneGate Micro II provides HD resolution up to 1080p with 60 Hz via an HDMITM 1.4a interface and is 3D TV ready. Three USB ports are available to connect accessories such as wireless dongles, keyboards, storage devices allowing functionality to be added based on an as-needed modular approach. The latest system on chip technology provides enhanced processing power and memory, allowing sophisticated applications and attractive user interfaces.
