Letter From The President
NEWSLETTER
My time as your president is
another month down and I
will turn over the gavel in
June. I am already planning
my summer and I am THAT
mom that dreads opening
their child's folder each day
as they come home from
school. I don't want any
more projects, reports, eld
days or trips. I am tired of
homework, permission slips
and laundering uniforms.
Who is with me on this? There
was a blog written on this very
same subject that really spoke
to me....I needed to hear that I
was not alone. I am so eagerly
planning my summer. I have
broken out the water guns,
sprinkler, activity bags, and trip
brochures. I can hardly contain
my excitement about the
adventures Gunnar and I will
have this summer. So here's to
you moms and dads who are
tired of the morning routine of
getting kids out the door,
packing lunches and ironing
uniforms.....
to you home school parents
who are wrapping up your year
and prepping for afternoons at
the pool. We know each other
by the rebellion in our step and
steely eyes. We chant to
ourselves how many days, we
dodge those daily binders, we
must make it through. So
hang in there, I stand with you
and hope to make it to the end
of May. God Speed!!!
