)ill ta*e pla$e o Mo #ay +th May ,ro% 11a% u til 4p%The fair, now in its 36th year, takes place on Southgate Green and is organised by Christ Church Southgate with support from other local groups including the Explorer Scouts, the ighlands ! Southgate S"uadron #ir Training Corp and the Southgate Green #ssociation and offers a fun day out for the whole family at what is Southgate$s largest and most successful community e%ent& 'ecognising the centenary of the (irst )orld )ar, the main beneficiary of this year$s e%ent is The 'oyal *ritish +egion Greater +ondon ,istrict& The *ritish +egion is the -.$s leading #rmed (orces charity& They pro%ide practical, emotional and financial support to all members of the *ritish #rmed (orces past and present, and their families& The fair will be opened by (r /eter 0ackson, 1icar of Christ Church and ,a%id *urrowes 2/ and outgoing 2ay 3ueen #melia 2arriott& The ,eputy 2ayor of Enfield, Cllr 4ngrid Cranfield, will be in attendance to crown the new 2ay 3ueen& Stalls will include books, music, toys, cakes and plants, with a wide %ariety of fun and games for all ages including cra5y golf, a climbing wall, train rides and Go6.arts, face6painting a magician and much more& # wide %ariety of food and drink will be on offer, with lunches ser%ed in the )alker all and the Church tours of the belfry& ouse bar open throughout the fair& The beautiful church building will be open for tours, including
