Academic Scholarship in Dubai Electricity & Water Authority DEWA

:Introduction Dubai Electricity & Water Authority is keen to put into implementation, the approach of the state in employing and developing the national working forces. DEWA adopts nationalization plan within its strategic plan, as it currently launches ambitious programs to train and prepare national human cadres able to takeover works burden in various technical fields in this vital significant sector. From this point, DEWA prepares and executes several orientation, training and educational activities and programs in DEWA utilities and in the various educational and training institutions within the state and abroad. Scholarship Programs: Intilaq Program: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical) in the various private and government universities and colleges. Intilaq Program: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical): DEWA introduced this program, which is carried out in coordination with several government and private universities and colleges, aiming to prepare and qualify the national who are:

Duration of the Program:

A student will ta#e full time study in the university where he$she is accepted, as per the prescribed study years!
:Benefits & Remuneration DEWA offers remunerative benefits, as a student will have a monthly remuneration equal to Dhs. 3500 during the first year, Dhs.4000 during the second year, Dhs.4500 during the third year, Dhs.5000 during the fourth year and Dhs.5500 during the fifth year. A monthly deduction of Dhs.500 will be made from the monthly remuneration throughout the study period and the due amount will be paid after successful completion of the study and official joining the Authority, in addition to a remuneration equal to Dhs. 1500 to be paid during the practical training in the summer holiday for six weeks, each year. Salaries and benefits after admitting the Bachelor degree: After successfully completing the program and attaining the Bachelor degree, a local employee will be confirmed in one of the prestigious posts in DEWA and will be paid an attractive salary and additional allowances. Other Benefits: Annual increment depends on the annual performance assessment of the employee. Annual leave for 22 working days. Enjoyment of Retirement &Pension Scheme.

Conditions of joining the program: Applicant should be a UAE national. His average in the High School certificate shall not be less than %80 and his average shall not be less than 3. Applicant shall successfully pass the written tests and personal interview. Applicant shall undertake to work in DEWA after attaining the bachelor degree as, per the agreed period. Applicant shall be medically fit. Applicant shall be of good conduct. Required Documents: Copy of the passport. Copy of registration certificate Khulasat Quaid. Attested copy of the High School certificate showing the percentage if applicant is a High School graduate. Copy of the academic aggregate, if applicant is a final or semifinal university student. Two passport photographs.
