Annotated Bibliography Primary Sources: Greenwald, Mary M. Looking like the enemy: my story of imprisonment in Japanese internment camps.

Washington D.C.: New Sage Press, 2005. This book is the story of Mary Matsuda Greenwalds life while she was in a Japanese internment camp. This is a very trustworthy source because it is written by Mary herself, and not a third party author. It is very useful because she was seventeen when she was sent to the camp and to get a teenagers perspective on this entire event is very useful. George Bush, wrote a letter to Japanese internees, 1991. This is the letter written by George Bush to Americans who were interned at the Japanese internment camps. It is very trustworthy because it is an official government document. It is useful because it acknowledges how terrible it was and how America was wrong to intern them.

AUDIO file. http://tellingstories.org/internment/hkashiwagi/ (accessed October 23, 2013) This interview shows what it was like growing up in the camps and how terrible it was to grow in those conditions. It was very trustworthy because it is written by someone who experienced it. It is useful because it was information from someone who went through it. Fusa, Tsumagari a letter to Clara Breed, from an internment camp, Sept 14, 1942. This is a letter from Tusagami Fusa talking to his librarian Clara Breed about life in camp. This is very useful and trustworthy because he was in the camps and went through it Franklin D. Roosevelt. The president. The Executive order. No.9066, February 19, 1942. This is the order that put the Japanese in the internment camps. Its very trustworthy because it is the official document that put them in the camps

Secondary Sources: Hay, Jeff. The internment of Japanese Americans. Detroit. Greenhaven Press, 2012. This is a source that describes the life in the camps and it has some primary source journal from internees at the camp. It is useful because it describes the environment perfectly; it also provides information on the whole controversy of it after World War II. It is trustworthy because there are primary source documents in the book. CLPEF Network. This is a timeline of what happened during World War II that concerned Japanese internment. It is very useful because it shows you not only what happened during World War II but after it. It is trustworthy because it is part of a network.

It is useful because I could use it for pictures on the website. It is trustful because it is an organization devoted to historical research and preservation of the Japanese Internment. This website gave me pictures of a boy going to the camps. It is useful because I could use it on my website and gave me more of an insight on children during the time. This website gave me a big picture of one of the camps. It is useful because I could use the pictures on my website. It is trustful because it is a website completely dedicated to history and uses external trusted sources. "The National Archives Experience: DocsTeach." DocsTeach. http://docsteach.org/ (accessed February 16, 2014). This website gave me a picture of F.D.R. signing the executive order. This is useful because I can use it in my website and it gives me a look into that time period. It is trustworthy because it is a website used for history teachers to find documents. "Home Page." It is useful because it gives me a look at the camps and a picture. It is trustworthy because they are an organization dedicated to protecting historic things. "Murphy's Law -." It is useful because it gives me a look at how they got there and a picture to use. It is trustworthy because it is a picture Ive seen multiple times. Its useful because we can get a picture of the man who caused many Americans pain. Its trustworthy because Ive seen it in many other places. "Ptak Science Books." This website is a website that has a part dedicated to the internment. It is useful because it give me information on the Japanese Internment and a picture. This website has a picture of the Executive Order 9066 on it. It is useful because shows people what the Executive Order 9066 looked like. It is trustworthy because it is one of the original ones.

NPR. http://www.npr.org (accessed April 2, 2014). This website gave me a picture of a mother and her family in an internment camp. Its useful because it shows how familys dealt with the Internment. Its trustworthy because it is from NPR which is one of the most trusted sources in America. This website gave me a picture of a house telling returning Japanese to stay away from their neighborhood. Its useful because it shows how people reacted after the internment. Its trustworthy because it was from a book originally about Japanese internment. "Japanese-American Internment Memories." This website gave me a picture of a grocery store owned by a Japanese man saying I Am An American. It is useful because it shows what they had to go through. Its trustworthy because it is a Japanese Internment Research website. "Democracy Now!." Democracy Now!. http://www.democracynow.org (accessed March 23, 2014). This website gave me a clip of George Takei talking about his internment. It is useful because I understand it more when I hear someone talking about it. It is trustful because it is a trusted website and news show and it is really George Takei. "The New American Spirit." The New American Spirit. http://thenewamericanspirit.com/bill_of_rights/ (accessed February 28, 2014). This website gave me a picture of the Bill Of Rights. It is useful because it lets me see what the document looked like. It is trustworthy because it uses pictures of the actual document. This website gave me a picture of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It is useful because it lets me see what the document looked like and etc. It is trustworthy because it is the actual picture and is the Human Rights website.

This website gave me a map of where the camps were located during the war. It is useful because it gives me an idea of where everyone was. It is trustworthy because It is a commonly used map. "Scalia Warns US Internment Camps Could Happen Again." The Gateway Pundit. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2014/02/scalia-warns-us-internment-camps-couldhappen-again/ (accessed February 11, 2014). This website gave me a picture of three boys looking out in the distance during their time in the camps. This was useful because it gave me a sense of what kids did while in the camps and how sad they got. It is trustworthy because it is a commonly used picture.
