Withinthesoftmelodyandgentlelyrics,Lennonpresentstheideaofaworld,freefromviolence,pain andhatred.JohnLennonssongImagineeffectivelyusesethos,pathos,andlogostomakea statementaboutbringingworldpeace,evenifitisahighlyimprobabletask. AlthoughJohnLennonssongdidnotactuallyaccomplishhisgoalsofspreadingworldpeace, hewasstillabletomakeastatementthroughhisusageofethos,pathos,andlogos.Itisnotpossiblefor onesongtochangethecourseoftheworld.However,Lennonsuccessfullyconveyshisdreamthrough hismusic,evenifitisnotpracticalenoughforittobecompleted.Eventhoughhedidnotsucceedinhis dream,hehassetastandardfortherestoftheworldtoliveupto.HissongImaginehasleftalegacy intheheartsandmindsofthosewhocameafterhim.Maybeoneday,thehumanracewillobtain universalpeaceand,inthewordsofthelateJohnLennon,theworldwillliveasone(Lennon).
