000. /he Union 5?ecutive#, a) The 'eeting of the /nion E3ecuti&e shall 8e or$inaril# con&ene$ 8# the -ecretar# at his o1n $iscretion or un$er the $irection of the 0resi$ent or 0atron or at the re?uest of at least fi&e of its 'e'8ers. 8) A notice for the /nion E3ecuti&e 'eeting 1ill 8e gi&en to all its 'e'8ers at least three $a#s 8efore the $ate of 'eeting. c) The E3ecuti&e Co''ittee shall 'eet at least once a 'onth. $) -e&en 'e'8ers shall for' the ?uoru'. e) E'ergenc# 'eetings of the /nion E3ecuti&e 1hich can onl# 8e hel$ un$er the $irection of 0atron 0resi$ent or 8# the -ecretar# after consultation 1ith the 0resi$ent or at the E3ecuti&e Co''ittees $o not re?uire three $a#s notice.

The election shall 8e con$ucte$ 8# the E3ecuti&e Co''ittee 1hich shall elect one Chief Election Officer an$ one teller an$ one (eturning Officer for each "olling station fro' a'ong the 'e'8ers of the teaching staff of the /ni&ersit#. 5. The E3ecuti&e Co''ittee shall also set u" a tri8unal of three coinci$ing of t1o 'e'8ers of staff an$ the 0atron to hear co'"laints fro' 'e'8ers if an# after the elections are o&er. The 0ro"osal of the Can$i$ates for each election shall 8e su8'itte$ to the /nion Office till the ti'e fi3e$ 8# the /nion E3ecuti&e on a "rescri8e$ for' gi&ing the na'e of the "ro"oser an$ the secon$er as also acce"tance 8# the can$i$ate concerne$. 6. No "erson 1ho has not 8een an or$inar# 'e'8er of the /nion for at least ) 'onths shall 8e eligi8le for election to the Office of the 0resi$ent or -ecretar# or :i8rarian/ Dice*0resi$ent. 8. The 0resi$ent the -ecretar# an$ :i8rarian/Dice*0resi$ent shall not 8e eligi8le for re*election in the sa'e ca"acit# e3ce"t those electe$ un$er Clause II of this cha"ter. !. Inter'e$iate stu$ents shall not 8e eligi8le to contest for "osts s"ecifie$ in Clause I of this cha"ter. %0. In case the office of the 0resi$ent the -ecretar# an$ :i8rarian 8eco'e &acant "er'anentl# for less than 65 $a#s or te'"oraril# for not 'ore than , 'onths no 8#e*election 1ill ta7e "lace. %%.
