Free guided tours for school children with a hands-on component and over a dozen science/art activities. Subjects include Nevada history and mining, American Indian Culture and archaeology, and the natural science program: Bats.

Discuss the role of law enforcement, give examples of rules and laws and discuss the importance of laws and rules to keep people and their property safe. Discuss the rights and responsibilities of citizens. Answer students questions.

A free educational program that brings history directly into the classroom. Presentations last about an hour and consist of hands-on materials and a slide show in topics of: Native Americans, Immigrants, Mountain Men and Fur Trappers, Mining and Miners, or Children in Early Nevada.

Using an internet connection and a computer, students can virtually explore many historical exhibits from the Nevada State Museum including: Native American Heritage, Stewart Indian School, history of The Mint, Historic Coin Press, Goldfield, Nevada, Merci Train, and galleries featuring anthropology and rock art.
