YATEK Supplies Heat to Momsky District


The management team of Yakutsk Fuel and Energy Company (YATEK, a subsidiary of the Summa Group) have stepped in to provide heat in the Momsky district. Due to a complication at the mouth of the Indigirka River during the 2013 shipping season, local residents and public utilities were unable to access a sufficient supply of boiler fuel. Zairbek Kamilievich Yusupov, the general director of Yakutsk Fuel, arranged for a supply of boiler fuel to provide fuel for the daily needs of the districts residents.
Over 1500 tons of boiler fuel were trucked into the MagadanHefto interim oil terminal from the village of Kysyl-Syr. The Interdepartmental Commission to Coordinate the Winter Transportation of Goods has confirmed that the Momsky District now has sufficient fuel for the needs of businesses and organisations.

Summa News May 2014 NCSP Group Handles 33.6 Million Tons in First Quarter
Summa Group subsidiary company NCSP has consolidated their turnover for January March 2014 and the results show that it amounted to 33.6 million tonnes. General Director of the JSC NCSP Group, Yuri Matvienko, comments on the turnover saying, Last month was the stronger in the quarter, turnover growth in March compared to February of this year was 13.3% or 1.4 million tons. More specifically, there was a lag in terms of crude oil which decreased to 18.8% year on year but with a monthly increase from 9.1% to 10.2% in the first two months. Liquid cargo over the January March semester amounted to 26 944 tons. Bulk cargo amounted to 2406 tons. General cargo amounted to 2964 tons, while containerized cargo amounted to 167 000 TEU, 5% more than year on year of 2013.

Stroynovatsiya Wins Caucasus Highway Tender


Summa Group subsidiary Stroynovatsiya has won a tender to build a new section of the M-29 Caucasus Highway in Russia, and reconstruct an existing section. Passing through the Kabardino-Balkaria territory, the project will construct a new 10km long section with two lanes in each direction. The section that will be reconstructed passes through Zalukokoazhe and Psyndakha of the Zolsky District. The reconstuction should be completed by the end of 2017. The tender, which is to the value of 3.92 billion RUB, was ordered by the North Caucasus Highway Administration.
