The Church of Jesus Christ shall witness the Antichrist's stand in the Third

Temple, according to 2 Thessalonians 2. That event will precipitate the final

three-and-a-half years of Daniel's seventieth week. Why say that? Well, let us
look at those verses from 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4: Now we beseech you, brethren, by
the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That
ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor
by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you
by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first,
and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth
himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God
sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Let us examine now
what had been said. In those verses, Paul addressed these following subjects: The
coming of the Lord Jesus Christ or gathering unto him called the first
resurrection by some or rapture by many. It shall not come until these things
first happen. That there comes a great falling away, a man of sin revealed who
exalts himself above all, and sits on the third and final temple showing that he
is God himself. One can one conclude by these words of Paul? The first
resurrection or rapture if you wish, will not take place until there is the
following events that already took place prior to it. There shall be a great
falling away, the man of sin is revealed (Antichrist) and stands in the last of
third temple. So we will conclude that the church (not a building but a body of
believers who are faithful unto the name and Godship of Jesus in all things, See
Colossians 2:9, 3:15-17, Matthew 3:12-17, 28:18 and Acts 2:38, 4:12) the
Antichrist, the third temple built, and the Abomination of Desolation. Daniel 9:27
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the
week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the
overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the
consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Today, we see
that all these things are the start of sorrows which shall come to pass upon this
earth because of the hardness of hearts of the people who dwell upon it. Jesus
said these words. Matthew 24: 8-15 All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then
shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be
hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and
shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets
shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of
many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be
saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a
witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see
the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy
place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Here is the meaning of that term. In
both Biblical and rabbinical Hebrew abomination is a familiar term for an idol.
Which is anything except God almighty to be set there at that Temple to be
worshipped. Daniel, Ezra, and Jesus all refer to a appalling abomination or an
intentional perversion made at the temple. Such as what happened before when the
desecration of the temple (In the time of the Maccabees's of 167 B.C. which in
Hebrew, means "hammer") was completed through the erection of a Zeus statue in its
sacred precincts by Antiochus IV Epiphanes. Finally, let us conclude with Mark's
version of the events to happen, perhaps will shed some comfort us in some way as
we see time shortened to spare the elect of God. Mark 13:10-20 And the gospel must
first be published among all nations. But when they shall lead you, and deliver
you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate:
but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye
that speak, but the Holy Ghost. Now the brother shall betray the brother to death,
and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and
shall cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my
name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. But
when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that
be in Judea flee to the mountains: And let him that is on the housetop not go down
into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: And let
him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. But woe
to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! And pray ye
that your flight be not in the winter. For in those days shall be affliction, such
as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time,
neither shall be. And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh
should be saved: but for the elects sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened
the days. Before we anything else is said we all must know that God loves us his
creation. He freely wants to give us all things. And nobody by thought can add a
cubit or 18 inches to their height. You cannot control the future but to influence
it, you can. Nineveh was the flourishing capital of the Assyrian empire and was
given an additional amount of time because of their repentance. Read the book of
Jonah. It is short, having four chapters only and will take only about five
minutes of your time. Luke 11:32 The men of Nineveh shall rise up in the judgment
with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of
Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. Jesus speaking there. It was
reported by Wesley that they gained forty years. John Wesley was an 18th century
Anglican evangelist. Regardless, nobody is promised another single day on this
earth. Today is the only day that one can have and to be saved from wrath to come
in it. Life is a gift. Now, let us all treasure it as never before. May God supply
all your needs as you trust in him to do above and beyond what mankind could ever
accomplish.
