Description and Background Information

Commonly identified elements of a story include Plot, Character, Setting, and a Theme. The ability to identify the elements of a story aids in comprehension, leads to a deeper understanding and appreciation of stories. And helps students learn to write stories of their own. The Students will be able to identify the elements of story elements within Danny and the Dinosaur.

The Students will listen to a read Aloud on Danny and The Dinosaur and ask they are listening to the story they will write down what are the Characters within the story, the Setting, the three Main Events , and the Resolution. After the Read Aloud we will go over the Sheet as a class.
