1. The top news story of the week is the unrest that is going on in Ukraine and the missing Malaysian Jet. 2. The top news story in the New York Times is the unrest going on in Ukraine. In the 24 hours Toronto newspaper, the top story is about the Candidates running to be the Mayor of Toronto. In the Metro Toronto newspaper, the top story of the week was St. Elias (flock rises from the ashes about the church that caught on fire).

3. For the most part, all the news sources that I followed have covered the same topic when it came to international news, which was the unrest in Ukraine and the missing Malaysian Jet.

When it came to the news that was local, New York Times did not cover any of the topics that the 24 hours or Metro did. The local newspapers that I followed on the other hand had similar stories in the newspaper. I did notice that the front pages were different but somewhere within the newspaper the same major news headlines did occur. For example; both 24 hours and Metro covered the mayoral candidates and they had a front page dedicated to this topic sometime throughout the three days I followed the news. 4. I did not find any major differences when it came to the news articles that showed up in the three media sources I followed. All three media sources covered the missing Malaysian Jet plane and the continuous search for the missing jet. The only difference I did find was in the wording of the articles but I think this is normal since their all different journalist writing these articles.

5. In the Metro and the 24 hours newspaper, I found the language they used was very easy to read and understand. But what I did notice was the Metro newspaper was that they spoke about Rob Ford using more insulting words to describe him. For example; when they were talking about how Ford added Johnson to his re-election they referred to them as a "Crack Team". On the other hand, the 24hours just covered the story and the main facts but did not attack Ford directly. The New York Times, I found a little hard to read because of the language they used. 6. I didnt really like the images the 24 hours and the Metro used which I thought looked very amateur. But when it came to the New York Times, I found the images more appealing and they were able to stand on their own and tell a story. 7. I found the Metro to be the most bias out of all three media sources I used. I found they were very opinion based and bias when it came to certain stories. For example; any of the Rob Ford articles they covered were not all the time giving all the facts but attacking him as a person. The 24 hours I found was facts based but did have a little bias opinion. The New York Times was very fact based and straight to the point. I also found it well written although at times it was hard to understand the language.
