Piano Recital-Irena-Koblar

300 Seward Street Ripon 7:30 p.m. A piano concert by guest Slovenian artist Irena Koblar will be presented April 11 at Ripon College. The recital will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts. The performance will feature music by Scarlatti, Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms. Admission is free.
300 Seward Street Ripon 6 p.m. A lecture/discussion with guest Slovenian artist Irena Koblar will be presented April 10 at Ripon College. The talk, Imperfection/Perfection: The Future of Classical Music, will run from 6 to 7 p.m. in Room 147, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts, on the Ripon College campus. Admission is free.

Planning and Landscape Architecture on April 29th. Gary Brown, who is currently overseeing the development and implementation of the 20-year campus master plan, will present a lecture, Building for our Future while Respecting our Past at the Wisconsin Alumni Association: Fond du Lac Chapter Founders Day event. The Founders Day event will start at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 795 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac. Dinner will follow at 6:15 p.m. with the program starting at 7:00 p.m. As a featured part of the evenings events, Oakfield native Bob Panzer will be recognized as the 2014 Badger of the Year. The Badger of the Year award honors a University of Wisconsin Madison graduate in the local community who is a leader in business, community service, or in his/her profession. In addition, the Chapters 2014 scholarship winners will be formally recognized. Each year the Fond du Lac Chapter awards multiple scholarships to Fond du Lac County residents that will be attending UW-Madison for the first time.
801 Campus Drive 7:30pm $10.00 Accompanied by full orchestra, the Chorale will open the concert with Beethovens Mass in C Major. The second half of the concert will include the Liebeslieder Waltzes by Johannes Brahms and Beethovens A Choral Fantasy, featuring the chorale, orchestra, soloists and solo piano. Fond du Lac native, Jestin (Jesse) Pieper, will be the featured piano soloist.
Tour Of Fashion
South Hills Country Club
1175 Fond du Lac Ave. 5:30-9pm Tour of Fashion will be held on Wednesday, April 30th at South Hills Golf and Country Club, from 5:30 to 9:00. The Tour of Fashion is Service Leagues annual event whereby all proceeds benefit many local community projects, schools and various organizations. The 35 women of Service League work hard planning a night that features great food, great fashions and an outstanding silent auction. We look forward to this spring time event, and the opportunity for guests to enjoy a fun night out.
