PASSIVE VOICE

The pass voice is a grammatical construction in which the subject of a sentence or a

Aturan-aturan dalam Passive Voice:

diubah menjadi kalimat pasif
Contoh : The rain Fell
The baby slept sweetly
The sun shone brightly
Contoh : laugh (kata kerja intrasitif)
She laughed loudly (tidak bisa dipasifkan)
Berbeda dengan :
She laughed at them (bisa dipasifkan)
They were laughed at (by her)
langsung. Kalimat seperti dapat dibentuk menjadi dua kalimat pasif.
Contoh : Active : Ochi gave Meyta an expensive present
Meyta : indirect object
An expensive present : direct object
Passive : Meyta was given an expensive present by Ochi
An expensive present was given to Meyta by Ochi
