Teresita Agana, SPC our ever- patient and adorable High school principal; our supportive and untiring administration and faculty, dearest parents and guests, and lastly to my fellow batch mates, good morning! Welcome to the 31st commencement exercises of the High School Department. Our graduation marks the celebration of life and living. Graduation could mean the encapsulation of our growth in high school. It stands for our last and greatest milestone. And yet it is also a crossroad where our very choices would lead us to separate ways. Ever since we were freshmen, we learned to accept the fact that we have to say good bye to our ates, the seniors. But we were always assured that we will still be back the following year, together as one batch. Ever since the start of our high school life, we have been exposed to saying good bye, but it never really sinks in until it is almost time to let go. But our graduation is not merely moving past our days with checkered neckties and school uniforms. It is the moment in the middle, between the celebration of our memories in the past, and the anticipation of hope in the future. It is the priceless moment wherein we share our joys with the warmth our family and the company of our loved ones. When we take our last bow here on stage, it might just be the last time that we see a clear view of our batch mates all together. So take a good look around. Remember the faces; remember the friends youve made; remember the memories; because they will live on in our hearts, even as we are about to part. But when you make that bow, remember that a new door has been opened for you. Life only moves forward. From our first day as high school students, way back in freshman year, who would have thought that we would have accomplished so much? We have all grown, figuratively, and some literally throughout those four years. We proved to

everyone that we just cant get enough. That we went for more as the years passed. We rocked and rowed to the top, in the end, we sealed our names in SPCP history as we shouted Viva La Senioritas! (This can be removed) We are the batch that despite being stuck in school one Saturday, through rains and brownouts, still managed to keep reviewing for our CETs in our hallway. We are the batch that conquered mountains, and caves, going through the most challenging field trip ever in Mt. Banahaw. We are the batch that danced and sang along the music of all ages with our family. We are the batch who enjoyed one of the grandest grad balls ever in the O Ultimo Carnivale. We are the batch that took hold of the title as back-to-back champions in Intrams. We rocked and rowed to the top, in the end, we sealed our names in SPCP history as we shouted Viva La Senioritas! And we are the first batch to graduate in this auditorium. Our batch has been blessed with so much, and we have a lot be thankful for. It goes without saying that all our achievements were possible because of the unending support and love from our parents, as well as the dedication of our teachers. Most importantly, our batch was able to do these things because of Him, up there. But with our achievements come reality. Our life is not without its challenges. We all faced the difficulties and struggles before reaching the end. All the intense practices and preparations for presentations like Inferno or the CL synthesis, all the late nights cramming thesis or any other project, all the hours of sleep weve missed, all the reminders that were given to us. They all boil down to this. Today marks the start of the end of our final milestone as high school students. On this day, we are about to leave a legacy not only in our school, but in the hearts of all those weve touched. Seniors, before you go up that stage, I want you to look back at the past years of your life. Look back with me at those moments when you succeeded, those moments when you felt the happiest. Look back at those moments of regret and disappointment.

Now, remember those times when you got up after falling, when you first laughed and smiled after crying, when you felt braver and stronger than before. Those are the moments that defined who you are. As you walk up this stage, you begin make a name for yourselves, that transcends the four corners of this school. And that name you make will be all up to you. Everything that you have gone through will be immortalized on this day. But everything that you will be doing beyond this moment will be immortalized through lifetimes. Thank you and once again welcome to this years commencement exercises!
