Investigated and identified risks in a variety of engineering practices for Hyder Consulting. Gained awareness of the importance of health and safety in the workplace. Researched potential hazards in pharmaceutical plants, refineries and civil engineering projects.

Design Project Module (2012-2013) Birmingham-UK Contributed important technical skills in both Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Visio. Decision making skills were key when designing the processes used in a Horlicks plant. Analysis skills were used to interpret a complex and inconsistent mass and energy balance provided by GlaxoSmithKline.

Designed a horizontal bowl decanter centrifuge in detail for use in the production of Horlicks (a product by GSK) as part of a university project.
