Corruption in mexican government

After years of drug trafficking and illegal business, it has finally reached the surface of the Mexican government. The Mexican President Juan Hidalgo is assassinated by a mexican drug dealing cartel. Early this morning after a normal deal, President Hidalgo angered the cartel by threatening them in which they retaliated by shooting him 3 times in the chest, one bullet penetrating his heart. Victor Martinez, a heart surgeon who tried operating on President Hidalgo at the Hospital ngeles Lomas, said, President Hidalgo was in a critical state when we received him. We knew we could not do much with a bullet wound to his left ventricle. All we could do was give him pain killers so that he could die in peace. Investigation is still underway on what actually happened. Many news reporters have reported over the years that the Mexican government is corrupt and has been making deals with drug cartels to help fund the government. The Mexican government would turn a blind eye to the cartels while they sold drugs illegal for a percentage of their profits. This in turn would help the Mexican government fund public projects such as building new schools and renovating old ones.

Drug routes
These are the routes Mexico uses to pass their drugs through different countries. The main drugs Mexico uses is cocaine and opiates. They are the easiest to make and transport. Many of the drugs Mexico makes are illegally smuggled across U.S borders and sold there.

Here are all the bills Mexican police found after the death of President Hidalgo.

Right now with no one as President, Jose Maria Pino Suarez is now in charge of the Mexican government. Much of the public is in chaos now, trying to figure out what is happening to their country. Many of them have packed up and are starting to leave to U.S. They do not want Jose Suarez as president and are tired of the corruption in Mexico. Alex Sanchez, a mexican citizen says, I am tired of all the corruption of this government. I cannot live in this unsafe place. I have a family of 5 and I worry every day if my children will live because of these dangerous gangs and drug cartels. This needs to stop. Drug cartels in Mexico have been around for almost 50 years. Mostly dealing with cocaine, marijuana, and opiates, most of the cartels grow and make the drugs in Mexico. They then smuggle it across to the states and across sea to Europe. Mexico is the drug hub of the world. Most of the income nowadays is from drug trafficking.

Police are investigating on which gang shot and killed the President.
New President, President Jose Maria, waving to his new people. He will remain president until a formal election can be held.

A press release from Jose Maria Pino Suarez states that he will be in charge of the country until an election is held for President. He also said that they will be investigating what happened this morning and states that the government is not corrupt and does not deal with any drug cartels for money. He says those are just rumors so people have a reason to hate on the government. Suarez says Hidalgo will be greatly missed and that he will miss him greatly. He was a great friend and great political leader. This is the first time in this history of Mexico where a president has been assassinated due to affiliations with drug cartels. Although the government has denied affiliation with them, it is obvious that they are dealing with them. Money being generated out of thin air, rigged elections, and increased violence has lead to the public thinking that their government is corrupt and dealing with the cartels. President Hidalgo was elected 15 years ago when he won the election against Jose Maria Pino Suarez. Although it was a close election it was clear that the people of Mexico wanted Hidalgo as president. He was for the people and wanted the best for the people of Mexico. An expert in Mexican politics, Edwardo Rodriguez says, This is a devastating loss for Mexico. Hidalgo was a great guy even though he was mixed up with all these drug scandals. He was out their for the people.
