Narrative Summary

Activities
1.1 Identify current problems of horticulture farmers and record major deseases and desasters.

Inputs
1) Recruite and deploy 25 horticulturists, and agriculture advisors. 2) Equipe local offices and make them available for these scientist. 1) Recruite 5 Irrigation experts in central office. 2) Establish media and person to person connection with all the staff in the field. 3) Coordinate all irrigation problems with this office.

1.2 Provide expert irrigation advisery services.

2.1 Establish new crops calendars, and improve/correct existing ones.

1) Take at least 10 consultative meetings with farmers, village elders and local officials. 2) Collect the data in pre designed format. 3) Dissiminate the information after approval of the extension workers, horticulturists and ministry of agriculture officials.

2.2 Purchase 5mt of Non GMO improved seed and station 1) Prepare RFQ, RFP and advertise on national and international procurement portals, 2) Finalize the winner in open session with all applicants and officials of the ministry of agriculture. them in nearest silos (depots). 2.3 Introduce new more productive livestock breeds. Import new breeds in milk production, and meat output.

Preconditions

5.2 Create coordination committee with ministry of agriculture, ministry of rural development and locally active NGOs.

1) Invite senior representatives to at least 3 coordination meetings and request them to be available for monthly coordination meeting. 2) Allocate sufficient budget for meeting refreshments and transportation facilities.
